Jingle Bell Elf Pair

I adore funny little cut files! This little Elf Pair file from the Silhouette Store caught my eye right off the bat!(see links below).  I love how it turned out! I used some new fun "schtuff" from Inspiration Emporium and had a great time with it! I used the new Tim Holtz Yuletide designer paper, Crazy Talk sentiment stamp and Birch Trees thinlit die. BUT my favorite part are these cute little Jingle Bell brads! Don't they add the perfect touch!?!

I was talking to someone at a crafty class I was taking last night and she asked me how tiny the Silhouette would cut. I had to tell her about these teeny tiny eyes and nose I had cut for these elves. Amazing-- but it is so easy to lose those little buggers. I always cut about 10 extra  little pieces because they seem to disappear all on their own!

Doesn't the birch tree die look great? It makes for a wonderful backdrop.

I am going to enter this in the following lovely challenges:

Pile It On #95-Any Holiday/Celebration 11/21
Crafty Hazel Nut Challenge #255-Must see Red and Green  11/19

Halloween Treat Holder #26-Tim Holtz Crazy Birds

Halloween/Fall Treat Holder #26

...Been playin' with my Crazy Bird goodies that I received from Inspiration Emporium

I used a fun 3D bird cage file from the Silhouette Store (3D Ornate BirdCage by Lori Whitlock #78360) and filled it with little chocolate candies. I then added some creeping black vines and tied it shut with some 'twisted' twine.  I  then added the "Crazies"  on to the birdhouse....I KNOW...shouldn't they be on the inside of the cage????  Yep-they sure should, but they are busy guarding their candy stash!!!

I am entering in the following challenges:

Fire Up your machine and let's see what you have to share!!!

Challenge Info. #30 "Anything Goes"
Starts: October 1
Ends: October 31

Copied from the Day 1 Project Post:

I LOVE making fun little treat holders for the different holidays coming up. I give them to friends, family and co-workers. Most of them end up in the garbage, but a few people have kept every.single. treat holder I have given them over the years. It is fun to see them lined up in their offices!  I decided this year to try NOT to  make 30-35 of the same project, but to try to make a variety of little Halloween or Fall themed projects! Lucky for you-you can follow my "treat box" journey for 2015!

If you would like to check out all my other treat holders-click the word below!

MaMa Elephant Treat Box

Halloween Treat Holder #12

I have been wanting to make  one of these fun little candy holders for a long time...I love that you can see all the candy in the window!  Love love the bright and cheerful Doodlebug papers and the darling little Mama Elephant Witch and kitty from the Bootastic set that I got at Inspiration Emporium.

I added a few little fun bats and the BOO sentiment that came with the box file  to finish it off. I did adjust the orange plaid piece (and the BOO) to make it a wee bit smaller so I could see the sweet and spooky little owls and have room for my little witchy poo on the background paper.

Now I must tell you...I used my new toy on this project...My new ScanNCut2  cut out these stamps in such fine detail! More to come on that later!!!

I am entering this into the Lori Whitlock October Link Up Challenge HERE.

Begins: September 1
Ends: September 30

A blog dedicated to Silhouette Cutting Machines.
You MUST use a Silhouette somehow in your project.

Head on over and link up your projects today.
Click HERE

I saw these fun new cut files from the Silhouette Store and I knew I had to give them a try with my new Halloweenies/Paper Smooches stamp set (see link below) from Inspiration Emporium.  The Halloween papers from Echo Park did a lot of the work on the ghost card, all I had to do was add the fence, bats,  ghost and stamp that little hanging spider to make a cute and spooky scene. On the inside I also added some little bats.

On this card I used a few fun dies...the Tree die and a stitched hill die. I popped on a few little  bats and a little twine too and ta dahhh! All done!

I am entering these in the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge-Anything goes 9/26

I hope you enjoyed these fun creations!

A is for Apple-Lawn Fawn teacher card

Don't miss out on my Penny Black blog candy HERE.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A is for Apple...or in my case it stands for  Abby or Amanda! These are two of my little teacher daughters. One my real life daughter and one a daughter of the heart-Abby's bestest friend ever! I am just so proud of them!  I had to make two of these cards to send to my A+ girls!

Now in my day(ahem) you received an E on your report card for excellent if you did a great job. Should probably make one of these for my other daughter Erin ya think?  E+

I used a Lawn Fawn stamp set named -A Good Apple. I am always on the look out for good teacher stamp sets. This set has some great teacher sentiments as well!

I used a card designed by Snapdragon Snippets in the Silhouette Store. I love their designs..they have some really fun Halloween designs I want to give a try!  I put this together just a wee bit differently...guess I wanted mine original (or I did not follow directions very well LOL) Regardless, it is now my creation (that's what we say when we mess up)!!!

You can see the other project  below that I made with this set and read more about it HERE.

Thanks for popping in today...loving this long weekend here in Oregon...it's RAINING!  We have not seen much of that around here-we even had a dusting of snow on the mountain...this weather is crazy! Next weekend is suppose to near 90 again...my plants are so confused LOL

Don't forget to join in at the Silhouette Challenges blog for September-Anything Goes! You only need to have something cut with your Silhouette to join in!

Batty In Love by Paper Smooches

Hello....You know I already showed you a card I made with this same set-but by golly all the images are so cute I hope to make a card or project with all the images-so watch for a couple more!

I am using the fun stamp set Falling For You by Paper Smooches from Inspiration Emporium.

The box is a cut file from the Silhouette store, as well as the spiderweb! Have you seen the new Beta version of the Silhouette Store redesign? What do you think of it?  I am not one to like a lot of change, but I do like some changes and not so much for others. I loved being able to see at a glance if I already owned a cut file-so I hope they bring that back. What do you think about it all? (newsflash-if you sign in to the new beta version of the store-it will show if you have already purchased a file! Yeah!!!)

Have you seen all the great entrants in the Silhouette Challenge August Challenge? Don't miss out-you have a few days left!

I colored and cut out the little bats, adding a bow to one 'girl' bat and added them both onto the box with pop dots and a fun little heart included in the set as well.

The sentiment was stamped on a tag cut from the Lori Whitlock Sweet Strawberry die set.

I am entering this cutie into the following challenges:

Craft Deebowz Challenge-use a homemade bow 9/1
Melonheadz Friends  Challenge-use a hand colored image 8/30

Paper Smooches Falling For You

Back to School Time!

Having two daughters that are school teachers, naturally our conversations have centered around classrooms,  new students and getting up early tomorrow for their first day! My goodness- they work so hard...just to get ready for that first day of school-and the rest of the year!  I decided to make a set of these appreciation cards because I have a lot of teachers to send them to. I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for their 200th Celebration..

For today's cards I used my new Paper Smooches stamp set named Falling For You that I got from Inspiration Emporium. (this set also includes fall images as well as Halloween, so it is very versatile) I used a sentiment from a retired Clear and Simple stamp sentiment set about teachers...a classic!  The paper is DCWV Grade School Stack with glitter and foil. Love that stuff!!!  I finished each one off a little differently and added a fun little charm from Inspiration Emporium as well.

http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com.au/2015/08/freshly-made-sketches-200-celebration.html

You can see these little charms that say Imagine and Inspire.

I stamped the apple on red dot paper and then restamped the white core part and cut it out and added it on top of the first apple.

I hope you have enjoyed these cards today!
