Sneak Peek #2 @ The Craft's Meow

Welcome to the second day of the new Little Frieda Sneak Peeks. Today we are showing off this little party gal Little Frieda and Lulu-My Girl. You can see some great samples of this new set on The Craft's Meow blog today.

This fancy frocked Frieda stamp (that's a mouth full!) really called for some fancy schmancy DP, so I found this pretty Crate Paper DP with lovely roses on it. I used the sketch challenge from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

I paper pieced the little bow from the dress and used it as a hairbow too. Little girls love matchy matchy outfits!

I have to smile when I look at Frieda looking into the mirror. Anyone that has daughters, you know what I am saying here.... they loooove to look at themselves in the mirror....for a long time LOL!

You can win this sweet set as well as the Frieda at the Seashore set simply by leaving a comment on the DT's blogs. Winners will be chosen randomly from those comments.  Winners will be announce for the first two sneak peeks on the Sunday release post. You have until 10 pm Saturday night.

And THEN....you must join us on Sunday for a fun blog hop. Leave comments during the blog hop and you have a chance to win not only the two new Frieda's but also Lisa is giving away 3 of her wonderful kits! Really, these are just amazing, so don't miss your chance! Winner of blog hop prizes will be announced on Tuesday.

Thanks again for popping in to say Hello! I love hearing from you!

I'll try to be nicer....

I saw this funny Bugaboo image and knew I had to make it into a card for my dear friend Janet. She works for H&R Block (a tax preparation company) and I know that as the April 15th tax deadline draws closer, she must be thinking something similar several times a day LOL!  Janet has this beautiful head of grey hair (very premature grey I must add)  so here she is, in all her glory.

I stuck the paper clips on the ribbon with crystal effects and also added some on Stella's glasses.

I used  this week's Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I tell you, this is one friendly group of stampers...you must give their challenge a try!

I hope you enjoyed a little of my "sarcastic" side...these digi's  just tickle me. I have several more to work up so watch for them in the future!

Don't forget to sign up for my blog candy HERE!

Luke turns 1!

Oh My sweet grandson had his first birthday party yesterday. I posted his party invites yesterday HERE. This is the special Gwamma card I made for him. I used the cricut cartridge A Child's Year and some yummy Teresa Collins papers. I just bought this cricut cartridge...just had to have it...so had to use it :)! Next year I am sure it will have to be trucks or planes or some thing BIG BOY, but this year, I made a keepsake card. I used a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday #89 that I found on Allison's blog here.

I wanted to put his weight and height inside of the card, but could not remember what it was...maybe his Mama could add it for me now that she has the card. I think he is almost 26 lbs...and pretty tall too...!

Although I did not get to go to the party because of illness, my daughter Abby dialed up Skype on her iphone and I got to watch the whole birthday cake celebration live! Luke loved the cake and I hear he was really the life of the party too! My son Matt took some wonderful pictures I am sharing with you...see pics below! You can tell I am a proud Gwamma!

Isn't he just a handsome little boy?

Goofy Boy

I think little kids should just get boxes for their birthdays...oh so much fun! I am sure Cole and Luke will have a blast with this one(forget about what was inside LOL). I remember when Cole used to crawl into boxes and play and play inside(with lots of peek a boo time too)!
