For my card today I used a classic House Mouse stamp. Do you remember the Stampabilities stamps with fun coordinating sentiments? These stamps are dated 2008 so it's been a while!  

I have been moving my stamp room to my new place and it has been so much fun re-discovering all my classic stamps! When I get it set up I'll do a little craftroom review. It's going to take a while though. I can't believe how much I have. I am going to have to weed out a bunch of craftiness to fit it all in-but not my House Mouse, Penny Black, Peanuts and my cute little classic stamps. You will probably see a bit more classic stamps now that they are close by!

I colored my images with copics and used a Lawn Fawn sky stencil with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink. I used a fun die, cutting two to make the card base.

Lori Whitlock March Bloghop

I think this is one of my most favorite cards I have made in ages. It is so darned cute!! I  LOVE that shamrock tree and funny little gnome.  This dimensional card is a creative fold that flattens for  mailing! Easy to pop right back up when you take it out of the envelope! 

As always I do add a matting for some pieces. In this case I added a .05 green matting to the fun Lori Whitlock St. Patricks clover paper designs. I also used some different paper for the tree and a few of those blimey shamrocks! lol

I have always loved the funny Penny Black cows. I couldn't find a link to this actual cow stamp unfortunately. It is a classic stamp for sure!

I  resized the patchwork card base cut file to make this an A2 size and added just the checkerboard piece to the top and bottom of the card.

This sweet image is perfect to send to a dear friend! It was very easy to color! I used copics and used Lawn Fawn stitched rectangles to mat it. 

For a bit of interest I stamped and cut out an extra mailbox flag and added it with a foam dot under the flag-just enough dimension and still easy for mailing.

Hi there! Hope you are all staying warm! It has been pretty cold around here. Brrrrr

Perfect for that hot cup of coffee(in my case it is cocoa!)

For my card today I am using a new stamp from the latest Spellbinders House Mouse release. I tried to make it look like Amanda Mouse was inside her little mousie home, getting ready for a nice cup she has brewed up!

As always, colored with copics.I used a circle stencil from Penny Black to shape my little mouse door and used Miss Inks star stencil inside the house. I blended a bit of brown for the wall color and added some seams with a light brown copic.I added it on some sparkly and shiny striped paper, but that doesn't really show in the pics.

Bio.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself. This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

I'm still playing with all my classic stamps as I set up my craft room. I have always been smitten with the PB Ducks and unearthed this one today. I was looking for my "romantic" cute Huggin' Ducks but have not found that one yet. They are older stamps (2005) so I had a hard time finding any for sale. I linked several sites I found above.

For my card today I used Spellbinders Fluted Circle for my main card base and cut a wavy pink card base with my Silhouette. To finish this off I added the fun silly sentiment (still for sale at Penny Black).
