Lori Whitlock September Blog Hop

(Designed by Lori Whitlock)

Nested Zig Zag Square (SVG, Silhouette Store)

I used the 6x6 Paper Pad, all 3 new stamp sets, enamel dots, the Sticker book, as well as the 12x12 Solid Paper Kit for my card  and this fun zig zag square cut file for my base. It's fun to have the whole set of goodies of her latest release! The possibilities are endless!

To make the card base I simply enlarged the zig zag file to fit my little doggie scene. I used misc dies for my little scene and added it on to my zig zag base. Those little doggies are so darling-I could not resist making a little snowy Christmas scene. I stamped and colored the dogs with my copics and them cut them out with my ScanNCut2. They would be easy to fussy cut as well.

We are a dog lovin' family so I just had to show off Lori's new doggie stamps.  I also loved using many of the pretty new papers!

PBSC ATG or Use a Die

 Penny Black Saturday Challenge

September Challenge

Anything Goes

or the optional theme-

Use a Die

I colored this cute little stamp and cut her out to add to my rainy day scene. There is a matching die for this stamp but I used my Scan N Cut to cut it out.  I used a stencil for the rain and used 2 of the Zig Zag Stacker dies nested together to cut out the background piece.  I elevated the center section with pop dots.

I was sooooo frustrated because this set has the cutest little sentiment with it and I will be dog gone, but it has disappeared today...Why or why do I lose clear stamps LOL. I have lots of sentiments to use but I would rather have used  "I'd share my umbrella with you any day".  I am sure the little stamp will show up tomorrow!

I used the following products:

Umbrella-Penny Black
Love Sentiments-Penny Black
Zig Zag Stackers-Penny Black
Copics

Thanks for stopping by today!

WOYW?W What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #900

WOYW?W

Do you remember years ago when I used to join the challenge What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday.  It's been years since I joined in this fun challenge started wayyy back in 2009!

I was browsing my Feedly blog posts and saw Darnell posting about the 900th challenge so I thought I would join in!  (I've joined in over 150 times over the years!)

This challenge was set up to show off your desk and maybe a project you might be working on as well. It is a way to check in with other crafters. They just ask that you comment of the post before and after you.

Thanks to Julia for starting this challenge and to Sarah for keeping it going into it's 17th year.

It would be fun to see you join in!

A lot has changed to my crafting spot over the years. I have moved to different rooms and even to a different house as well. Here you can see the gorgeous view I have from my desk (although it's a bit smoky today. We are in fire season and the smoke has been crazy. Normally I have a lovely view of Mt. Hood).

My son is a techie and always setting me up with electronics, so I have several things going on here. Bills stacked on the left ready to pay and a big stamping pad in the middle  I use to find the perfect copic color. On my laptop I have a Penny Black image I just colored and cut out-ready for the Friday Challenge. Also the transparent stamps are stuck on my laptop because I always lose them if I don't stick them to something! I also have a little speaker thingie for my cellphone. On the right is a speaker and a big monitor.

Here's another view.  I keep my Copics close by and always my Silhouette cutting machine. Both are on wheels so I can move them back to my "real" craft room. I am in the process of working on a whole new craft room and not really done enough to show it off. Right now I have a desk in the kitchen looking out over the meadow. My favorite spot!

I hope you join in! -Sue

Add Sparkle

Hosted by our Talented Teamie - Shelly

I pulled out another new and unused stamp for the challenge today! I colored with copics and added some sparkle using a glitter pen on the grapes. I used a sentiment from the Knit One stamp set that I embossed with white embossing powder and added to my image. I used the Falling Leaves Spellbinder embossing folder for the background. It really is lovely and adds some nice texture.

Bio.
I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself. This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Many thanks to our generous Sponsors for their continued support!

You Are The Tweetest!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

August Challenge

Mid Way Inspiration

Anything Goes

or the optional theme-

Things with Wings

I fell in love with this cute little stamp--and it's on sale on the Penny Black site for $2.50! What a bargain!

I used my new Penny Black Stitched Circles die to add the circular opening. The sentiment comes curved  so it was a natural to go around the top of the circle. I added a piece of stenciled sky behind the opening and added the cute little gal and her bird on pop dots. A fast and easy card!!!

I used the following products:

Tweetie 30-456-Penny Black (on sale for $2.50)
Stitched Circles-Penny Black
Lawn Fawn cloudy stencil
Distress Oxide-Broken China
Copics

Lori Whitock August Blog Hop

For our blog hop today some of our teamies decided to use a Summer-Ween theme! All new to me, but hey I am game for a little fun! How do you think I did?  I'm still not sure I did it right but it was fun to try. After I was all done I wished I had added a few cobwebs here and there too! It's easy to get carried away with all the shenanigans!

I used a ghost and bat from another Lori file and found a cute little Jack O Lantern face that I resized way down to teeny tiny and cut with black vinyl to add for the faces on the lemons.

I used the following files:

Box Card Lemonade (SVG or Silhouette)

No-Glue Halloween Box Boo Ghost (SVG) for the ghost and bat
