The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round...I bet you are singing along with me by now LOL! The challenge this week on 3 Clovers Thursday Challenge will be a school theme...Primary Colors! Doesn't this challenge remind you of those crayon packs you used to buy with the 5 or 6 big, round basic colored crayons in them??? (oh goodness, now I wonder if they still sell such a thing! It's been years since my kids were in primary school.)
I made this card to honor my daughter Abigail (Abby Jo to family). Yes, the same Abby that used to wake me up at 5am (see the previous post). Abby just received her teaching license in the mail today! I am so proud of her. She went back to school to get her masters and teaching license after realizing she wasn't getting anywhere with a general degree. She has put so much effort and time over the last 2 years to earn this degree. Now, my Abby is still little...she is 4 ft 9 inches tall if we fudge just a little. I tell her she needs to stick with kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grades because after that, the students will tower over her! I am excited to see what this next year brings for her...GO ABBY!
I made the BG paper with misc stamps from this little set. I bought these stamps out of a rubber bin at Yvonne's booth at the last convention I went too. They are just the cutest...with the little stitching around each image. I had to think of a way to 'pop' my school bus as it just got lost with the busy BG. I decided to slip the red and black circle behind it, pop up the bus and VIOLA!
