Bio.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself. This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

I love this little fall House Mouse stamp!  

It's pretty hot here, but honestly Fall is right around the corner so I am all ready. I like the brightness of of this card. I used a brown card base and a rust background. I cut the leaf out of cream cardstock 3 times to stack them for dimension. The cut file is named 5x5 Swirly Leaf Card.

I embossed  the sentiment and added it on with foam dots.

I cut out my House Mouse image with my Scan N Cut and added it on with a wobbler! I love the fun wiggle!

Unwrapping Memories

For the challenge today I am using the Anything Goes Option because I wanted to color up my new House  Mouse Stamps! I just could not wait!

I colored this cutie with copics and added a Silhouette cut file (Artisan Frame #20189) that I modified to make it a frame for my image to show through. If you do not have a cutting machine, Penny Black has a frame die very similar HERE.  The paper is some pastel Christmas paper from Penny Black Holiday Trimmings(retired but I love the pink and green).

Welcome to the our House Mouse and Friends Midway Reminder!

We are hoping the new midway reminders will encourage people to do a little stamping during the summer! 

I used a new release Sweet Nectar stamp. 

I had colored this image up a long time ago and then couldn't find it...wouldn't you know it. I spent the next hour cleaning my desk looking for it to no avail...but I do have a clean desk lol!!!

It would have been faster to color another image! Oh well, I carried on. After coloring the image I cut out the image with my ScanNCut. 

I made the cardbase by layering pieces of cloud diecuts and added a little grass too.  I tucked in a peeking sun from my stash and added a few crystals. Tah-dah!
