What's On Your Workdesk ? Wednesday #119-Sue Berker Challenge #3

You can see the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge 3rd Anniversary Blog Challenge and candy HERE!

****************************

                                     What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday!!!

How in the heck do you store your ribbon?  Right now I have this dresser drawer full of spools of ribbon. Most of this is Michaels and fairly cheapo...I keep my good stuff closer to my desk and in full view so I can use it for inspiration!  If you get a few minutes today, take a hop over to Julia's and see what everyone else has to share!

My desk looks the same ole, same ole tonight so I thought I would show you my ribbon drawer and this darling card I made for my Sue Berker #3 Challenge. Sue B rounded up some of her stamping cyber friends for a friendly little challenge. There are 4 of us and we each take a turn once a month sending the others in the group the makings of a card (image, paper ribbon etc) . It is very fun to see what we all come up with. It is amazing to see what everyone creates with the same stuff!

This month it was my turn to send out the goodies...and here is my card! Taaa DAHHHH!
I think you know by now how much I love Eline Pellinkhof images.  I sent this image to the group  as well as some fun My Minds Eye DP , ribbon, twine and a little heart charm.

Even though this image is a little boy, it so reminds me of my niece who was a BIG thumb sucker. She was such a sweet, sweet baby! Funny how some of these images bring back old memories!

Other stampers joining in the fun with me are----------

Nicki Jackson's Splitcoast Gallery
Kim Howard at   Basement Stamper
Sue Berker at Sharing What I Love.

Thanks for popping in and saying Hello! I am off to link up at Julia's and head for bed! It is night time on this side of the ocean girlies!

Card details:  I will be back to finish this when I find my info sheet LOL!

What's On Your Workdesk ? Wednesday #116- envelope art

Here we go....I literally sat at my desk, took this pic and came downstairs to load it into my post. The ole desk isn't too messy this week, just busy. I am currently decorating a big PILE of envelopes to be mailed as baby shower invites for soon to be Mommy- niece Annette. She wants them to be cute but simple. She came over this week and picked this cute Lily of the Valley stamp and darling Eline Pellinkhoff sentiment. It was toss up between the LOTV baby and the Eline baby, so I was glad she picked the easier one to color! I have colored all the little blankeys and faces so far and will finish the clothes maybe tomorrow. This is TV time coloring for sure! Mass production!!!

I think he turned out super cute!

Take a quick peek over at Julia's house this week and visit a few desks if you can...! Let me know if you play along too...I will be sure to stop in. Last week was a bust for me as I was gone to a wedding and then on to see my grandbabies and celebrate little Cole's 4th birthday! What fun to be a Gwamma!

Meet little Emma! Another Eline Pellinkhof creation

Meet my sweet, brand new little great, great niece, EMMA! She came to visit Auntie Susie on Saturday. She doesn't look too enthused with this visit, does she? I tell you what, that sweet pea makes the sweetest little squeaks and squeals...melted my heart. She is 3 weeks old and about half the size my little grandson Luke was at that age LOL!! Oh so tiny and petite!

I made this card in honor of Emma's first visit.  The image is an Eline Pellinkhof image. You can find her stamps, printables and digi's HERE, HERE, and HERE.

I used the sketch challenge from 2S4Y HERE.  And then I used this tutorial from Becca on making better mats for your fancy nesties. I have always traced and cut out with scissors, but boy this is so much faster!

A word about a feature on my blog...on the right hand side of my blog,  find the box right below my Copic Certified logo. If you click on  View All at the bottom of the box, you can view some of my favorite cards, tips, tutorials and patterns that I find during my blog surfing. I tell ya...there is good stuff there, so don't forget to check it regularly!

Little BabyGirl- Eline Pellinkhof

I made this card to give to my great niece who just had a a baby girl last week...Welcome to little Emma-a great great niece...wowser! This is another Eline Pellinkhof image. I just love her images...so darn cute! Thanks to Larissa for pointing me to Eline's art...!

I used the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #110 for my layout. The more I started working on this card...the more I thought it started looking like a baby quilt...perfect for this sweet image. I added some faux stitching and buttons with floss ties. I added the dots on her clothing with my copic blender pen. I meant to add this to a polka dot challenge I saw...but do you think I can remember where that was??? Nope.

ETA: I finally remembered where to find the dots challenge!  It is the new challenge blog by the super talented Crissy! Go check it out HERE- Sundays with Crissy! (this is not a Squigglefly image though)

There should be a law about Gwamma's  giving innocent little boys funny punk hairdo's during bath time.

ETA:  Oh looky here...Comment #18 is from Eline Pellinkhof  herself. She added this card as well as my baby boy Eline card on her blog HERE! I am just so darned excited!!! I love her images...she has some wonderful digi's on Squigglefly too.

A Gwamma Banner

Looky...Looky...Looky!  I have been blessed with many wonderful new friends since starting this blog. One great friend, Larissa from Car-D-elicious sent me this SURPRISE new Gwamma gift! This little LUKE banner was made special for me! Imagine that!!!

Larissa made this banner and added these wonderful  Eline Pellinkhof images to it because she knows just how much I love these stamps! Isn't this just the cutest thing you have ever seen? I have to say I am so tickled I can't stop looking at the wonderful coloring. She is the master of making her own backgrounds and DP as well. If you would like to read how she made this...you can read her post HERE.

Thank you Larissa...what a wonderful gift to celebrate Luke's birth!

Little Baby Boy- Eline Pellinkhof

A special card made for my new baby grandson, Luke...(EP cards always inspired by Larissa...she is the queen of Eline Pellinkhof cards). Larissa can whip up some of the best Eline cards around. Eline also has darling digi's on Squigglefly.

I used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #56.  Love this sketch...a perfect fit for what I had in mind!

Everything is Stampin' Up on this card except the baby image. The little guy is on dimensionals and also his hand and arm on dimensionals again.   Sorry, I do not know the name of this image...maybe Larissa can help me out!

It has been over a week since I have been in my craft room...Yikes what a mess. You should see lots of baby projects coming up because there are just lots of babies around these last few weeks. I will be going back next weekend to spend more time with little Cole and baby brudder Luke (aka Woot). I am counting the days....those little boys truly are my joy in life!

I hope to get motivated enough to have more creations to show you this week! I am so far behind in my blog reading and comments...I haven't forgotten you all!...and thanks to all who come and visit and to all who leave such nice comments, they always make my day!
