You've Been Egged! Easter Hunt!!!

Welcome to the Inspiration Emporium
Easter Hunt !

Inspiration Emporium decided to have a little fun today! I do hope you can find a few minutes and hop along with us over the next couple of days. There is a really great prize for some "hopper" that leaves us a comment on our blog, or on my teamies posts as well. Some teamies will be posting via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram as well, so this should be fun!  Please check the Inspiration Journal Blog for full details! We would love to have you follow our facebook page and our blogs as well! We love company!

This hop will be happening over several days and the winners (yep-there will be more than one) will win free enrollment in the latest and greatest new online class getting ready to start in May---WATERCOLOR for Card Makers!  I so want to take this class!

Today I am showing off a versatile Art Impressions stamp named Card Keeper/Cash Keeper.
I have used this stamp before as a Cash Keeper if you want to peek at that one HERE. Today  I have our sweet Golden Oldie holding an Easter Egg instead of money. The sentiment was stamped using the Jaded Blossoms Eggcellent set.

Gotta love that styling Chick robe she is wearing-don't you?
That paper is from Doodlebug Springtime collection.

Hop Details Here

Each blog will have a "hidden"letter (ha mine is not so hidden). You will need to get them all in order and then you will email the phrase to Heather, our design team leader!  All of her contact information will be on our Inspiration blog. Letters will be posted today, Sunday and Monday.  You will have a day after the final letters are posted to email Heather-so don't dawdle! You don't want to miss your chance!

My letter today is

and you will hop  to Lisa Hoel's blog from here.

Good luck to you all!

Jackpot! Art Impressions and SVG Cuttings

I love both these projects and decided I needed to hook them together for an All-In-One birthday card! I used this cute SVG Cuttings slot machine and Art Impressions Slots Jean stamp set..

Today is my Sweetie's birthday  and he love's a fun night of gambling at a casino!  I thought this would be perfect for him!

I attached Mizzzzz Jean with a strip of cardstock on to the side of the slot machine-she can fold flat against the machine too. I love the idea of using the red striped straw for the slot handle!

 Go Jean Go!!!

I made the 7's and the Happy Birthday sentiment as a print and cut with my Silhouette(these do not come with the cut file-but easy enough to make). Note: I did have to make the background pieces for the 7's and the birthday sentiment a bit longer than the original file -about 2 3/8 inch. The Jackpot banner is from the Art Impressions stamp set-Slots Jean

Yep, I added a few $'s inside with a little candy too. I am sure he will pop them into a machine and win a gazillion buckeroonies LOL!  I myself can only gamble $10 or $15 dollars before I start thinkin about all the crafty things I could buy, so I mostly just watch him gamble a bit.

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Your Daily Dose-Party Time Tuesdays-Use a die
Moving Along with the Times-Include the word Happy

Creations by AR Easel Box Release

April New Release Blog Hop

Both of my daughters are school teachers, so I thought I would make them a little Teacher Appreciation gift! Here you can see both the boxes. I stamped their "teacher" names on the little pencil on top of the box.

I used some school  files from the Silhouette store and some fun designer paper to complete my Teacher theme.

Here  you can see the tops in the easel position and the closed position.

When the easel is up it would be fun to add a favorite class picture or to do list!

The front flap tucks under the pencil.

Inside you can see the file dividers

Happy Egg Day!

I have not had any time to craft lately, but today I finished everyone's taxes-so I am doing the HAPPY dance!

I was ready to fire up my Silhouette and make something FUN!

Today I am made this darling little chickie on a  clear box . The little chick is one of several files in a set named Trio of Chicks from My Scrap Chick. I added it onto a clear DeNami treat box and added a fun little sentiment from Jaded Blossoms. I also used a new Impression Obsession grass die that I bought from my LSS-Urban Paper. I am excited to have several new sentiment stamps sets from Jaded Blossom and My Craft Spot-they compliment cut files that I like to use so well!   And really, talk about fast shipping! Great service from both companies!

Short and Sweet today! Watch for more fun little posts like this-I have a gazillion things I want to make, but I know I will run out of time.

Monday is House Mouse day at this 'house' and Tuesday will be a new release from Creations by AR!

See you then!

I Love My Dachshund! Taylored Expressions Marley

I love dachshunds!

My Mom has a little dachshund named Abby and boy is she a cutie. I think she will like this card, don't you? I made the dog house real "girlie" with pink hearts and diamonds! A girls  dogs best friend right?

Today, I am using a new Taylored Expressions "Marley" stamp set with coordinating die, now in the Inspiration Emporium Store. I love how these stamp sets come rubber on cling and attached to their own illustrated plastic card. Boy I wish all my stamps came packaged this way!

I used a little dog house file from the Silhouette Store(cut double to make it a standing card)-and using black paper for the base and  Lawn Fawn Let's Polka 6x6 papers to pretty up the front. I punched the cute little tulip row with a Martha border punch, added a couple strips of 'diamonds' on the roof and then attached 'Abby aka Marley' with pop dots, as well as popping up the sentiment.

Now I have to give my real doggie back his treaties that I used as props! He was keeping an eye on me the whole time I was taking these pictures...waiting for me to drop him a few....sneaky little fella!

Looking forward to getting some projects all finished up this weekend! Hope you have big plans too!
