Yes I am somewhat stuck on cute baby images right now...what perfect timing for this challenge new babies, new stamps and new card base as well.
I colored this image with copics and then fussy cut it out to pop dot it on to the circle of this card.
Wow, it's been a long time since I have sat down to color! It felt good to get the creative juices going again. I am going with the Something New theme...New babies are in the house and this card is being sent to a dear friend that just became a brand new Grandpa! I remember the days my grandsons were born-it was so exciting! For my card today I used an older wood mounted stamp that has since been reissued into an cling unmounted stamp as well. It is called Pieces of Quiet. I think at one time it was named Piece of Quiet. I adore the card base file I used from My Scrap Chick. I used the Classic Tall Frame Card file and resized it to fit my image. When doing that, just make sure to group your pieces together so that you resize all the pieces at the same time. To tie in the red from the image, I cut out a Spellbinders Heart Circles die and used the little throw away pieces to glue onto the frame. Somewhat of a pain to glue, but worth the effort!
Stamping is my crafting love! I started seriously papercrafting in 2001-and have never looked back. I love fun folds, bright colors, cute little mini albums and my Silhouette! Give me some pretty paper, my copics and my Silhouette and I am a happy camper!
