I am using the newly released stamp Stitched with Love.  I colored it with copics and mounted it to a heart lined card base that I cut with my Silhouette. I used THIS file for the card base, sizing it to fit my image. I also used Zig-Zag Stackers.

I started this card weeks ago but was dragging my feet with all the fussy cutting I had planned. I was fairly sick of the color orange so I decided to make a pretty pastel Halloween card. 

This wonderful classic stamp is from 2002! Oh gosh I love this stamp!  The sentiment is from those old $1 Studio G stamps of years ago. I have a great stash of them-they have the best little sentiments. Do you remember them? I added a few little silver stars and called it good.

Bio.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself. This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Hats Off to You

I love this little fall House Mouse stamp!  

It's pretty hot here, but honestly Fall is right around the corner so I am all ready. I like the brightness of of this card. I used a brown card base and a rust background. I cut the leaf out of cream cardstock 3 times to stack them for dimension. The cut file is named 5x5 Swirly Leaf Card.

I embossed  the sentiment and added it on with foam dots.

I cut out my House Mouse image with my Scan N Cut and added it on with a wobbler! I love the fun wiggle!

Unwrapping Memories

For the challenge today I am using the Anything Goes Option because I wanted to color up my new House  Mouse Stamps! I just could not wait!

I colored this cutie with copics and added a Silhouette cut file (Artisan Frame #20189) that I modified to make it a frame for my image to show through. If you do not have a cutting machine, Penny Black has a frame die very similar HERE.  The paper is some pastel Christmas paper from Penny Black Holiday Trimmings(retired but I love the pink and green).

Bundle of Joy

Our Little Princess paper

I used another new release stamp. This cute little Bundle of Joy stamp is so sweet.

Do you ever have cards that weren't working out?  I colored this image and cut it out with a fancy Spellbinders die. 

THEN I put tons of foam tape on the back and stuck it down...crooked. Darn it! It was quite the trick to get out my heat tool and slowly peel it back off and reset it. 

THEN I added some glitter to the pillow and it discolored it...so...I did some fancy paper piecing on the pillow to cover up my mess. I think I like the pretty flowery pillow better anyway. Sometimes my mistakes end up looking better than what I had planned!
