I had fun making this card! I played around with a couple new oxide inks that I bought recently. I am terrible with blending, but these inks worked out pretty well.

I stamped and colored my Leaf Sledder image with copics and then added the oxide ink blended sky. I covered my little sledders with some sticky notes and then sprinkled the sky with a little water for that fun reactive effect you get with the oxide inks. I added a little glitter for the snow and also a Paper Smooches sentiment from the set Christmas Sampler. I think the twine is from Doodle Bug-very nice quality.  The card base was cut with my Silhouette from the file Snowflake Thank You Card

I saw these fun new cut files from the Silhouette Store and I knew I had to give them a try with my new Halloweenies/Paper Smooches stamp set (see link below) from Inspiration Emporium.  The Halloween papers from Echo Park did a lot of the work on the ghost card, all I had to do was add the fence, bats,  ghost and stamp that little hanging spider to make a cute and spooky scene. On the inside I also added some little bats.

On this card I used a few fun dies...the Tree die and a stitched hill die. I popped on a few little  bats and a little twine too and ta dahhh! All done!

I am entering these in the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge-Anything goes 9/26

I hope you enjoyed these fun creations!

Nutty For You-Paper Smooches Part 3

Yep-I told you I would be making another card with this Falling For You/Paper Smooches set(unfortunately is appears to be sold out at Inspiration Emporium). They have other fun Paper Smooches stamps sets here.

You can see Part 1 and Part 2 by clicking on the links :)!

I decided to try a little something out of  "my" ordinary on this card and use digital designer paper. I did a print and cut with the fall tree digi paper and chose my Copic color scheme from that. I used a fun new card cut file from the Silhouette Store- making this 5x7 flip card. There is plenty of room on the inside to write a personal message! (I did add the sentiment and the acorn on the inside as well-a double whammie!)

Don't forget this is a start of the new September Challenge over at Silhouette Challenges!

Batty In Love by Paper Smooches

Hello....You know I already showed you a card I made with this same set-but by golly all the images are so cute I hope to make a card or project with all the images-so watch for a couple more!

I am using the fun stamp set Falling For You by Paper Smooches from Inspiration Emporium.

The box is a cut file from the Silhouette store, as well as the spiderweb! Have you seen the new Beta version of the Silhouette Store redesign? What do you think of it?  I am not one to like a lot of change, but I do like some changes and not so much for others. I loved being able to see at a glance if I already owned a cut file-so I hope they bring that back. What do you think about it all? (newsflash-if you sign in to the new beta version of the store-it will show if you have already purchased a file! Yeah!!!)

Have you seen all the great entrants in the Silhouette Challenge August Challenge? Don't miss out-you have a few days left!

I colored and cut out the little bats, adding a bow to one 'girl' bat and added them both onto the box with pop dots and a fun little heart included in the set as well.

The sentiment was stamped on a tag cut from the Lori Whitlock Sweet Strawberry die set.

I am entering this cutie into the following challenges:

Craft Deebowz Challenge-use a homemade bow 9/1
Melonheadz Friends  Challenge-use a hand colored image 8/30
The Paper Shelter Challenge-Come Fly With Me  9/2

Paper Smooches Falling For You

Back to School Time!

Having two daughters that are school teachers, naturally our conversations have centered around classrooms,  new students and getting up early tomorrow for their first day! My goodness- they work so hard...just to get ready for that first day of school-and the rest of the year!  I decided to make a set of these appreciation cards because I have a lot of teachers to send them to. I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for their 200th Celebration..

For today's cards I used my new Paper Smooches stamp set named Falling For You that I got from Inspiration Emporium. (this set also includes fall images as well as Halloween, so it is very versatile) I used a sentiment from a retired Clear and Simple stamp sentiment set about teachers...a classic!  The paper is DCWV Grade School Stack with glitter and foil. Love that stuff!!!  I finished each one off a little differently and added a fun little charm from Inspiration Emporium as well.

http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com.au/2015/08/freshly-made-sketches-200-celebration.html

You can see these little charms that say Imagine and Inspire.

I stamped the apple on red dot paper and then restamped the white core part and cut it out and added it on top of the first apple.

I hope you have enjoyed these cards today!

Paper Smooches Vegtastic!

I have a couple cute Paper Smooches cards coming your way this week. This is the first one!

I used  the funny little stamp set Vegtastic. Inspired by my soon to be full garden...I picked my first tomatoes and cucumbers last week...and I am impatiently waiting for my lemon cucumbers! I will probably have 100 million of them ripen all at the same time :).

I cut the basket with my Silhouette and wedged my little Veggies in between the front and back piece. The banner was also cut with my Silhouette and was picked from my banner stash bag. I love having lots of little banners and labels cut up in different colors ready to use, I stamped the sentiment using my Misti-which allowed me to double stamp and get a nice dark stamping. Love that new-to-me tool!

Thanks for stopping by today...I do hope you are enjoying a summer full of fresh veggies and fruits!!!

I am entering this in the following wonderful challenges!

Spring Flowers-Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Welcome to Penny Black Saturday Challenge!

We would love for you to join our March challenge:

Spring Blooms

Our Wonderful Sponsor for this challenge is:

Prize winner gets a $20 voucher!

Hello!!!  I bet you are all waiting for spring, aren't you? It seems there is snow everywhere  but on the west coast of the US where I live. We are suppose to have 70 degree weather this weekend...I have never seen this before!!! We are usually buried under tons of snow during February and March.   I have to say I am so enjoying the sun!

I made this project to get you into the Spring Flowers mode-keep hope that the sun will visit you soon too!

I used a new cut file from the Silhouette store for the box with the attached easel card. (see link below)  I added the bright and cheerful Taylored Expressions designer papers to accent with that rainbow touch!  I attached the oval with the bunny onto the front of the easel card, along with the sentiment and sequins. I made 3 little cards (3x4)  to add to the inside drawer.

The easel folds flat to the top of the box

Inside the box I made three little 3x4 cards-adding super cute little critters from several different Penny Black stamp sets (see below for a listing)

A Birdie Told Me...It's Your Birthday!

a birdie told me....

I told you so....

I also used a new little Paper Smooches Backdrop Builders die set-(for the road, clouds and the tree.)  The card base was cut with my Silhouette, with the grass cardstock cut from my new TE Rainbow Bright 6x6 Paper Pad. The sentiment is from the Paper Smooches stamp set Woofers and Tweeters.

I made this for a life long friend's birthday...I know she will appreciate it...and even give it a shake or two!
