World's Greatest Teacher

I made these cute cards for both of my daughters. They have been  second grade teachers for many years. They are smart, kind and patient teachers. Sometimes you just have to let them know! Who better to let them know than Charlie Brown (and Mom).  I used a Lori Whitlock school easel file and a pencil file that I can't remember who designed.  The stamp is a vintage Peanuts stamp, the sentiment from an old Close to My Heart stamp set and the banner is a misc cut file too.

Lori Whitlock August Blog Hop

School Bus Box

Welcome to our August blog hop!

I told you there would be another bus creation coming since I have TWO daughters that are school teachers.

This cutie is a little gift box that can be filled with little teacher goodies-- Maybe add a gift card for some STRONG coffee??? Ha!

This little doggie school bus driver just cracks me up-doesn't he look like he is a bit cranky going back to work.

Side One

The second side had no "students" shown in the file so I added some more cute apples.

And then we have the cute little hedgie peeking out the back of the bus.

You can find  this and all the other cute Lori Whitlock files at either the Silhouette Store or at the Lori Whitlock Shop.

Graduation Card-My Scrap Chick

Happy Graduation! It is that time of year-all the pomp is just around the corner.

For my card today-I used parts of three different
My Scrap Chick files.

I used the card base from the School paper easel card as well as the ruler and A+ elements.  I did resize the card base (and the added elements) so that my Smart Chick would fit nicely.  I think my card was enlarged to about 4x6.    I actually had my fun little Smart Chick made up already, so I tailored the card base to fit her. That's a little backwards, but hey-it worked!
I added a mortarboard cap on Ms. Little Smart Chick. Instead of making the Grad Cap file in to a card, I resized it to fit my smart chick and used only one side of the hat base and added it flat to the front of the card and then added the triangle part on pop dots.

I do hope you have enjoyed my projects today.

A is for Apple-Lawn Fawn teacher card

Don't miss out on my Penny Black blog candy HERE.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A is for Apple...or in my case it stands for  Abby or Amanda! These are two of my little teacher daughters. One my real life daughter and one a daughter of the heart-Abby's bestest friend ever! I am just so proud of them!  I had to make two of these cards to send to my A+ girls!

Now in my day(ahem) you received an E on your report card for excellent if you did a great job. Should probably make one of these for my other daughter Erin ya think?  E+

I used a Lawn Fawn stamp set named -A Good Apple. I am always on the look out for good teacher stamp sets. This set has some great teacher sentiments as well!

I used a card designed by Snapdragon Snippets in the Silhouette Store. I love their designs..they have some really fun Halloween designs I want to give a try!  I put this together just a wee bit differently...guess I wanted mine original (or I did not follow directions very well LOL) Regardless, it is now my creation (that's what we say when we mess up)!!!

You can see the other project  below that I made with this set and read more about it HERE.

Silhouette Challenges August -Anything Goes-Erin Condren Planner stickers!

It's time for our mid posting over at Silhouette Challenges.

Challenge# 28 "Anything Goes"

Begins: August 1

Ends: August 31

A blog dedicated to the Silhouette Cutting Machines.

You MUST use a Silhouette somehow in your project!
Silhouette Challenges

My daughter Abby just got a new job teaching 2nd grade! In preparation for this new job, she wanted to start a new Erin Condren planner. She was running around buying stickers when I finally told her to STOP-we can make them! ...So she bought full sheets of Avery labels and we went to town. We bought these element files and after a few boo-boos-we managed to get it right...Element pieces work differently than cut files so we had to figure all that out. Since then...we have been regulars buying the One Buck Wednesday elements and digi papers from Snap and Click store. Oh no!!! Not another thing to be addicted to LOL!
I hope you have enjoyed my first "official" post as a new team member for Silhouette Challenges!

These are all cut files from the Silhouette Store  that I colored or added digi papers to and then grouped them together to make them print and cut.

Silhouette files and digi papers from the Lori Whitlock School Rules collection, Silhouette files made as print and cut. I opened up the fun digi papers and pulled them into each piece. Then I layered them  and grouped them for a print and cut. (You will probably have to right click on each piece and choose Bring to Front to get the correct layering sometimes)

Silhouette file made as a print and cut file-I added the text to make sure she is ready for her nail appointment!

Please pop over to  Silhouette Challenges and join the fun.

My posting days for 2015 will be the 22nd of each month, so please make sure to pop in and say Hello!
