Lori Whitlock Inspiration-Sympathy cards

A2 Deer Scene Pop Dot Card (Lori WhitlockSilhouette Store)

A2 Aspen Tree Pop Dot Card (Lori Whitlock, Silhouette Store)

5x7 Shadow Box Card Deer Hills (Lori WhitlockSilhouette Store)

For my inspiration cards today I am showing you the lovely sympathy cards I have been making. These beautiful designs are perfect for sympathy cards or calm beautiful winter  designs. I live in the country and always have deer walking past my window almost every day. They are such graceful animals!

The pop dot cards are fast and easy. I used the slim pop up dimensional strips to make these fast and easy. Add each layer either in to the corner of your Misti or Scrap Pal each time and the layers will line up perfectly.

I hope you enjoy these creations.

Lori Whitlock November Blog Hop

Aren't these so fun???  I love all the detail on these houses.  (Lori's Store, Silhouette Store House 1, House 2, House 3)

In Lori's store you can purchase them in a bundle or singly.

I cut them in a festive color theme and decorated them with bits and pieces from  several other Lori Whitlock files. I used the swag and trees from Christmas House Card (Lori's Store, Silhouette Store) and the wreath and red bow from the Gingerbread House Treat box (Lori's Store, Silhouette Store).(I resized the decorations to fit the Tudor houses)

Notice the details on all sides of the houses too!

I added in the inside window pane piece and then added vellum over the window openings. (cut pieces for all that included).  I will then add some little battery lights inside so the light shines through the windows.  These houses fold flat for storage or mailing.

Lori Whitlock August Blog Hop

School Bus Box

Welcome to our August blog hop!

I told you there would be another bus creation coming since I have TWO daughters that are school teachers.

This cutie is a little gift box that can be filled with little teacher goodies-- Maybe add a gift card for some STRONG coffee??? Ha!

This little doggie school bus driver just cracks me up-doesn't he look like he is a bit cranky going back to work.

Side One

The second side had no "students" shown in the file so I added some more cute apples.

And then we have the cute little hedgie peeking out the back of the bus.

You can find  this and all the other cute Lori Whitlock files at either the Silhouette Store or at the Lori Whitlock Shop.

Penny Black December Challenge--Winter

December Challenge

Anything Goes

or the optional theme-

Christmas

Of course it's not Christmas unless Snowy makes and appearance on a card or two. Snowy is a classic Penny Black  image!

I made a cute little post-it note holder (cut with my Silhouette) and attached Snowy onto some pretty white glitter paper (you can't really see the sparkle in this pic).  I added a little redwood tree cut with my Silhouette as well.

I just love this cool little Penny Black sentiment set-Snowflake Season.  I used it on the front besides Snowy and also on the little note cards I cut to add to the holder. (all my post-it notes clashed so I made my own).

Snowy went missing when I went to assemble my note holder. He had been colored and cut out with my ScanNCut over a month ago. He kept popping up everywhere on my desk for weeks having a jolly ole time-until I needed him...finally found him hiding right where I put him. Whew!

CARD DETAILS:

Stamp set: Jolly Friends and Snowflake Season
Copics:
    Snowy: W2,3
    Scarf : R24,35,39 , G24,43,28
Misc: Bazzill Green and Red cardstock and Coordinations White Glitter cardstock

Halloween Treat Holder #26-Tim Holtz Crazy Birds

Halloween/Fall Treat Holder #26

...Been playin' with my Crazy Bird goodies that I received from Inspiration Emporium

I used a fun 3D bird cage file from the Silhouette Store (3D Ornate BirdCage by Lori Whitlock #78360) and filled it with little chocolate candies. I then added some creeping black vines and tied it shut with some 'twisted' twine.  I  then added the "Crazies"  on to the birdhouse....I KNOW...shouldn't they be on the inside of the cage????  Yep-they sure should, but they are busy guarding their candy stash!!!

I am entering in the following challenges:

Fire Up your machine and let's see what you have to share!!!

Challenge Info. #30 "Anything Goes"
Starts: October 1
Ends: October 31

Copied from the Day 1 Project Post:

I LOVE making fun little treat holders for the different holidays coming up. I give them to friends, family and co-workers. Most of them end up in the garbage, but a few people have kept every.single. treat holder I have given them over the years. It is fun to see them lined up in their offices!  I decided this year to try NOT to  make 30-35 of the same project, but to try to make a variety of little Halloween or Fall themed projects! Lucky for you-you can follow my "treat box" journey for 2015!

Batty In Love by Paper Smooches

Hello....You know I already showed you a card I made with this same set-but by golly all the images are so cute I hope to make a card or project with all the images-so watch for a couple more!

I am using the fun stamp set Falling For You by Paper Smooches from Inspiration Emporium.

The box is a cut file from the Silhouette store, as well as the spiderweb! Have you seen the new Beta version of the Silhouette Store redesign? What do you think of it?  I am not one to like a lot of change, but I do like some changes and not so much for others. I loved being able to see at a glance if I already owned a cut file-so I hope they bring that back. What do you think about it all? (newsflash-if you sign in to the new beta version of the store-it will show if you have already purchased a file! Yeah!!!)

Have you seen all the great entrants in the Silhouette Challenge August Challenge? Don't miss out-you have a few days left!

I colored and cut out the little bats, adding a bow to one 'girl' bat and added them both onto the box with pop dots and a fun little heart included in the set as well.

The sentiment was stamped on a tag cut from the Lori Whitlock Sweet Strawberry die set.

I am entering this cutie into the following challenges:

Craft Deebowz Challenge-use a homemade bow 9/1
Melonheadz Friends  Challenge-use a hand colored image 8/30
The Paper Shelter Challenge-Come Fly With Me  9/2

Creepy Cole and Spooky Lukey Halloween Glasses

Just a quick post here to share these fun sippee cups I made for my grandsons, Creepy Cole and Spooky  Lukey and my little punkin nephew Nicholas. I think I need to go buy some more if  the Dollar Store still has them...I have lots of 'littles' in my family-maybe I can bribe them to come see Aunt Susie on Halloween!!! LOL!

I don't make a lot of things with vinyl, so this was a fun departure from my typical cardstock and pen creations! I actually made these 2 weeks ago, but because Cole and Luke's need to be delivered, I thought I better get these photographed-and of course filled with goodies before they go! Note: I believe these should be handwashed-probably not dishwasher proof)

You can find the double walled cups at the Dollar Store and the images from the Silhouette Store-
3 cute Halloween icon set designed by Lori Whitlock.  I also added lots of little flying bats on the back  of each cup-just "cuz" little boys like that sort of creepy stuff!

I am going to add this to the October Link Up Party-Fall files on the Lori Whitlock Blog. You have the rest of the month to join in using any Lori Whitlock file (ends November 5th).

For the names I used a font on my computer named LD Funky Chunky (I think it came from Lettering Delights so that is where I linked it). I believe it was a freebie at one time but HEY-it looks like it is on sale for 50 cents right now!

Thanks again for stopping in to say Hello-I love hearing from you!
