Happy Easter! Art Impression Chicks

Happy Easter!!!

I made several different versions of these Easter cards. 

I stamped the Art Impressions chicks on different  polka dot papers and then cut them out with the dies that came with the set. The little blue upside down chick is also on an Action Wobble that came from Art Impressions. I didn't have to even get my Scan N Cut out! All the chicks are on pop dots except my crazy little chick. 

The card top background was cut with my new Penny Black slimline zig-zag die.  The die is just a wee bit longer than my Big Shot cutting plate so I had to do some fancy foot work to get that last bit to cut just right! Washi tape to the rescue. I Probably the only time I use my Washi tape!

 I added the background color with oxide inks and Gina K blending brushes.  I also used a darkroom door small honeycomb stencil on several cards.  (I think it can easily pass for chicken wire) . The Happy Easter sentiment was preprinted from Simon Says and the stamped sentiments were from Jaded Blossoms. Card size is 3.5x8.5.

Today I am showing off a versatile Art Impressions stamp named Card Keeper/Cash Keeper.
I have used this stamp before as a Cash Keeper if you want to peek at that one HERE. Today  I have our sweet Golden Oldie holding an Easter Egg instead of money. The sentiment was stamped using the Jaded Blossoms Eggcellent set.

Easter Treat Projects- Donut Bunnies and more

Aren't these little Amy Robison Donut Bunnies fun?  The little bunny head is a cut file designed by Amy Robison/Silhouette Store. I  bought it last year and ran out of time- so here we go 2014!  I am thinking of making these for friends...but haven't decided yet. The cute little Believe in the Bunny tag is a carrot file from the Silhouette Store and the sentiment is from Jaded Blossoms Easter Treats 2 stamp set. (their shipping is super fast!)

You've Been Egged

Happy Egg Day!

I have not had any time to craft lately, but today I finished everyone's taxes-so I am doing the HAPPY dance!

I was ready to fire up my Silhouette and make something FUN!  

 Today I am made this darling little chickie on a  clear box . The little chick is one of several files in a set named Trio of Chicks from My Scrap Chick. I added it onto a clear DeNami treat box and added a fun little sentiment from Jaded Blossoms. I also used a new Impression Obsession grass die that I bought from my LSS-Urban Paper. I am excited to have several new sentiment stamps sets from Jaded Blossom and My Craft Spot-they compliment cut files that I like to use so well!   And really, talk about fast shipping! Great service from both companies!

Short and Sweet today! Watch for more fun little posts like this-I have a gazillion things I want to make, but I know I will run out of time.
