Welcome to the June Penny Black Saturday Challenge.  This month we are going fussy and fancy.  

For my card I used this pretty card base cut file from Birds Cards(a freebie-link to her site below). I added a pretty sympathy sentiment and a few blossoms from a sweet PB flower set. I really think sending sympathy cards are the most important cards to send and the most appreciated. This Penny Black stamp set has many comforting sayings. A classic sentiment set paired with a few Penny Black flowers make for a lovely card!

I told you I made a couple cards with this same pretty cut file from Birds Cards (linked below). Here  they are! I used two different shades of bazzill cardstock to make the pretty white cut file pop.

I love this 'pearls and glitter' creation!!! The lovely cut file freebie from Birds Cards is a perfect frame for this birthday celebration! (see links below) Looks so clean all in white! I did make some other cards in pastel colors using the same cut file.  I will show them to you next week-(it is always nice to make several cards at a time to build up your stash)!

The main layer is added on pop dots for the extra added dimension and some glitter frosting added for that extra shine!

Happy Birthday Sweetums!

Hellooooo!!!  Did you think I got lost?   So sorry!  Unfortunately, both my Brother and Father have been very sick...but are on the upswing now and I am so thankful! Sorry-I just had to step back and take care of family...

It is hard to get "back into it"-you know what I mean?

When I am away from my crafty area, it seems it is so hard to get my mojo started again. I just have to force myself to jump back in!

Wondering how you get jumpstarted?  I either CASE some other amazing crafter or do some serious coloring or fire up my Silhouette machine!

For this card I used my Silhouette and did some easy coloring too!

 This polka dot 'bum' is on an action wobbler. When you open the swing card, it catches his shoe and makes it wobble like crazy. Sure makes me smile! This is such a fun Art Impression stamp-perfect for my Sweetum's birthday yesterday! Obviously, he would never be caught in such wild pants(he is known as the wear Brown every Wednesday guy) LOL!  I used Basic Grey papers and Art Impressions  Shake Your Booty from Inspiration Emporium. 

The fun swing/flip card is and svg file from the website Birds Cards. I had to google for a flip card that had a rectangle wide enough for the man holding the Happy Birthday sign. That's the  great thing about the Silhouette, you can resize your card base to fit as needed!

Happy Birthday!

I have not had any time to craft this week so I thought I would show you this card I made a while back. I made this for Mom's birthday and my dear friend Linda's birthday. I had this yummy May Arts ribbon that I bought from Charlene's Etsy shop and it was just perfect for this card! The cut file is a freebie from Birds Cards. She has tons of freebie cut files on her blog. A very talented lady indeed!

I do hope you have the best weekend!  I have company coming to Christmas craft this weekend so I am looking forward to finishing my annual wood project!! Maybe I can get a few things out of the way early!

Happy Mother's Day!

My Wonderful Family

My daughter Erin-my first daughter and Cole(you all know him-he will be 6 soon), my son Little Matt-the baby in the family, Me, Rick and Abby-my 2nd daughter, Big Matt (Erin's hubby) and Little Lukey holding up the end! Such a grand crew!!!

Nothing so special as family and celebrating being the Mother, Mother In Law and Gwamma of this whole crew. I love you all!

I made these pretty cards for my Mom and my Sweetie's Mom. The cut files are from Birds Cards. Love her   blog! She shares so many free files. If you have a cutting machine, don't forget to visit her!

I typed the sentiment in my Silhouette, and did  print and cut tags for the cards. I had a wee bit of trouble with the ribbon, so I tried different styles. A little wonky, but they won't notice I hope!  Love that you can see through the vellum flower!

I wanted to share my pretty roses with you all too-thanks to the Newton Family! (esp Matt who did the shopping I hear LOL)

Well, I am off and running to a fun day in the sunshine at the Schmid Family Farm-see you soon!

I made this pretty sympathy card for a dear friend. I wanted it to be a  special  creation for her.

I used a freebie svg cut from Birds Cards for the swirly back drop. I also used a pretty new stamp set I won from winning a MOJO Monday Challenge. It is a Verve stamps-just lovely. I added some silky May Arts ribbon and a few pearls to finish it off. 

I made a pretty  box envelope for 3D  creations using another Birds freebie.

I need a crew to help me...I have been looking for a specific stamp all night!!! Opening every drawer and looking through them 2 and 3 times. I know it is probably sitting in plain site too. Frustrating!!!

I think I will call a truce for the night  and  hope it's hiding place comes to me in my sleep! Argghhh...

Here is  my desk in all it's glory this week. Seems I have just shoved all the 'excess' to either side so I can have a nice clean work area. I think I will spend a few minutes tonight and clean it up-don't think I can take it any longer LOL!

I have been stamping quite a lot, but none of that in site tonight-just boring old bookwork!

Hello There....Welcome to Jammie Day Saturday-my favorite day of the week! I told you last week that I had another Valentine card to show you today-so here it is!

You know I love my Great Impressions meece-this one is having a great time blowing heart bubbles.

I cut a pretty heart border with my Silhouette (a freebie from Birds Cards) and added it to the top of the card with a silky red bow. Both the image and the sentiment are up on pop dots for a little added dimension.

Again-I used my pretty new Authentique Lovely DP . I love all the letters on the background paper-if you look real close you will find the hidden sentiments.

New Beginnings

We are back after our Christmas break!!!!

My card today is all about New Beginnings-New Love!  I used a new stamp gifted to me by my House Mouse Mom-America. 

I decorated this card with a pretty heart border given as a freebie on Birds Cards. She has many lovely cut files to share. 

I also added a cute little heart clip from the Silhouette store.  

I made the sentiment with my Silhouette and the little pens that you can use with the machine. Very fun indeed! The font is a freebie I downloaded off the internet(heartless valiumwhore). What a name for a font!  The image and sentiment are added on pop dots.
