I have been moving my stamping goodies around and have had fun rediscovering vintage stamps. You can't go wrong with a cute vintage Penny Black stamp!

I took an online class a few years ago. The class was on coloring fall and Halloween backgrounds. For the life of me I can not find the info on it, but if I do later I will link it. This spooky forest is a fun one! Imagine a few little 'candy corn ghosts hiking through a dark forest looking for treats! Just silly!

Lori Whitlock Halloween Scene Decor

 I have always wanted to make this Halloween Scene Decor file (Lori Whitlock Store or Silhouette Store)-so here it is. It's actually very easy but it is a decor file so it is bigger than normal creations.

It's perfect for a home decor piece. (finished it is about 18 x 11.5)

Little Punkin (Vintage 2004)

Doodlebug Haunted House (Silhouette Store, SVG/Lori Whitlock)

Every year I have to make a HM Little Punkin card-every year!. This is my most used House Mouse stamp I think! Although it is a vintage stamp, you can still find it on etsy and ebay. I added the little punkin on with an action wobbler for a bit of fun!

The haunted house is a Doodlebug file I cut with my Silhouette. The candy and the sentiment comes from Critters in Costume from Lawn Fawn. All stamped images were cut out with my Scan N Cut. 

Now to get these Halloween cards mailed!!

Bio.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself. This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

CATMAN

Isn't this little 'Catman' adorable? It is a stamp I have had for several years and have to use it at least once each Halloween. 

For this card I cut a Halloween House Scene with my Silhouette-resizing the file to fit a standard A2 card. I set the scene on top of a piece of  watercolor paper and lighty marked windows, pumpkin faces etc and colored each spot with copics. I then got out my little Prang 16 count watercolor palette. I made a few marks where I needed to paint the sky areas-giving it a spooky feel. 

I colored the 'Catman' with copics, cut it out with my Scan n Cut and added it to the spooky scene with an action wobbler. Love giving this little kitty a reason to do a little spooky dance!

Hello there! I chose the Anything Goes route with our new challenge. 

I colored this cute new House Mouse image and fussy cut it out. I then added it to the the spooky scene I created by blending the night sky and sidewalk along with the moon stencil. I cut the haunted house with my Silhouette (file designed by Lori Whitlock). There are three fun sentiments that come with this stamp as well.

Sentiments included 1. You put a spell on me 2. Witching you a Happy Halloween  3. Our Friendship is Magic

For my card today I stamped the Before The Snow trees in black. I used my new Tim Holtz moon stencil and blended Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink for the night sky with Black Soot Distress around the edges.  I added my little PB ghostie and an oldie but goodie sentiment from an InkaDinkadoo Halloween set. The bats were cut with my Silhouette.

Don't Cry Over Spilled Candy (Booda and Pebble)

I dug out some of the House Mouse Gruffie friends. What a blast from the past! I sure miss these friends of the meecies! I wish they would bring them back!

Halloween projects:

I have two containers of just Halloween stamps, ribbons, papers. I dig them out every October and have fun putting together Halloween scenes. I have baggies of fun elements I cut with my Silhouette (bats, spider webs, fences, haunted houses,) extra stamped images and parts and pieces of past projects. 

Card #1-Image colored with copics. Matted on an embossed spider web panel and then some fun Halloween DP leftover from another time. The label tag and the bat were from the stash bag and the sentiment from those little Studio G $1 stamps sets that were so popular years ago. Added Wink of Stella on the butterfly wings

Card #2-Image was cut out with my Scan N Cut and colored with copics. The spider web card base was cut with my Silhouette as well as the bat, fence and sentiment. DP was left over from a past project. Added Wink of Stella on the butterfly wings
