SCS Featured Stamper 333!

Last week I was honored to be the Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper #332! I have to say I was tickled pink!  There is a link on the side of my blog if you want to see some of the cards made!

I thought I would sort of "pass on the torch" to this week's Featured Stamper, Tina Hale. I used her creations HERE and HERE as my inspiration. (You do have to belong to Splitcoast to view these creations)  Tina uses her Silhouette for fun 3D projects along with her stamping, so this was an easy challenge!!!

I grabbed my brand new Bundle of Joy designer papers and a Paper Smooches sentiment stamps from Inspiration Emporium and went to town!

I used the layout from her card, and also used a nifty print and cut banner cut file from Echo Park that matched my Bundle of Joy paper(I added the pink hearts)-how fun is that???  Tina also made a fun milk carton project, so I thought I would make this a set with a sweet little baby gifty milk carton decorated with the the Bundle of Joy papers and matching cut files from the Silhouette store. I love the matchy matchy of echo park paper and cut files!  I cut the matching binky (with i adore you stamped on it) and the echo park bear with my Silhouette and added them with pop dots.

*******
Just a little note about the adhesive I use for my 3D cut files.  I do prefer using Zip Dry Paper Glue as it allows time to move your papers before they become permanent. Lori Whitlock uses this type in her how to videos.

You have a few days to join the Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue June challenge! You could win $50 in  Emporium Dollars!!

Inspiration Emporium Blog is also giving away 3 spots to the new Summer Card Camp 2 given by Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner and friends. Hop over to the blog to see how you can win!

I have lots to show you this coming week, so I do hope you pop back in and check out what is happenin' around here!

Hang In There

Jammie Day Sunday!

Hello to you all this morning! I am here to share this fun 3D card-reminds me of a diorama card. I love the dimension! This poor kitty is hanging on for dear life...off an Oregon cherry tree LOL!

This is another card for my coworker that is still sick. He is healing, but oh so slowly. This one I will set on his desk-words of encouragement to be patient.

I cut out the 3d card, tree, grass and banner with my Silhouette. I extended the length of the branch with a copic multi-liner so that it would be long enough to reach the full width of the window and a wee bit more so that I could tape it to the inside of the card. To finish it off I added the scenery and sentiment banner. Done!

Right now there is a sale going on at Great Impressions-20% off and free shipping in the US with a $25 order. A great deal!

Please take a few minutes to pop over to the Great  Impressions Blog and see what the rest of the team has been up to. Our June challenge is Leave A Little Sparkle.

Thanks for stopping in to say Hello-I always look forward to your visits!

House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge #132

50 Days Till Christmas

For this challenge, you can show off anything you might do to get ready for Christmas! For me, I am always a late lizzie in wrapping presents, I always mean to wrap them early, but it always seems I am wrapping a few days before Christmas.

I used several House Mouse stamps on this card, including just using a part of Mice Elves. (a good way to stretch your stamps too)

The surprise is when you pull the pretty brad...

This is  fun slider card I made with my Silhouette-cut file designed by Lori Whitlock. Love it!!!  It opens like this---when you push either side in, they both retract at the same time.

I used some pretty Echo Park papers and a Christmas light cut  file and a pretty label as well.

Our sponsors for this challenge are:

and a $10 certificate from

I hope will join in our challenge this time! Thanks for popping by!

Great Impressions Saturday-Very Merry

Good Morning and welcome to my Saturday Great Impressions jammie day post. This morning I am  really hanging out in my pj's and doing a little surfing! How 'bout you? What are your plans today?

For my card today I used  papers from the Echo Park Very Merry Christmas Kit that I got for the Great Impressions/Echo Park DT blog hop. I framed this happy Wintery Snowman in the red polka dot paper  and used the great green tree paper for the background. I added the sentiment on a slant and tied on some real jingle bells with some May Arts twine. I also added a snowflake cut with my Silhouette and blinged it up with some sparkly crystals. I intended to add glitter to the hat, but geez-looks like I forgot!

I am entering this in the CCEE Stampers Challenge to use Snowmen on your card.

You still have time to leave a comment for a chance to win an Echo Park kit and some Great Impressions stamps. You can read about it HERE on my post.

I am so tickled to be creating with both Great Impression Stamps and the brand new Very Merry Christmas kit designed by Jessica Sprague for Echo Park.  I was so inspired by this wonderful kit, I had to make something that used almost every paper in the packet! (over 20 of them!)  I think I almost made it except for 3 or 4 papers.(and easily enough left for 3 or 4 more mini's!)

I found this great mini album pattern on YouTube a while back and fell in love with all the tricky little pages. (Designed by Angelwings 14100-see video link below!)

On the front of the mini I used the Christmas tree sticker from the kit and added Joyful Penguin, Penguin with Snowflake and a couple babies from the Playful Penguin Trio(yep, reminds me of my daughter's little Newton family).  I also cut out the sentiment Christmas (from Echo Park in the Silhouette store) .  I used two layers of  red satin ribbon with a little magnet inside for the closure and colored a white snowflake button (tied up with some May Arts green twine) with an E42 copic marker to antique it up a bit.

Here it is open to the first page. The left side has the little page insert decorated with an EP sticker along the top and another Great Impressions Penguin. The right side is a gate fold with a magnet closure.

Grab the little gold Noel tab sticker to open up the page. Inside has another double sided insert for pictures.

Flip to the next page...the page on the right flips up and there is a page underneath that flips down.  The page on the right has a Santa's Coming sticker from the kit.
 Last page fully opened up.

These pages have stickers from the kit and a Joyful Penguin on the page insert. The string of lights is another Echo Park file from the Silhouette store. There is a page insert on the top Santa page and the bottom page (with the holly leaves) flips back up and then opens like a gate fold (held closed with magnets) Oh my---look at all the pretty papers and stickers!
On the left side of this page is another Echo Park cut file (Holiday Cake) from the Silhouette Store, the right side has a print out and another sticker.

A quick video that I made to show you how this album works-thanks to my son for helping me!
