Happy Anniversary

Funny how some card ideas come to me. I had cut out this cute little bee hive card out several months ago and it has just been sitting on my desk...waiting.   The other day I was browsing some of my very first stamps and found this darling little  bee stamp. A perfect match!  I made  this into an Anniversary card for some friends and stuck it in the mail right away!  Cha-Ching!

I added a cute little row of tulips made with a Martha border punch, some doodling and some chalk for shading.

A quick post today! Off to play in my crafty space!

alotaRubberstamps--Take Care of Yourself

This is one of the first alotaRubberstamps stamps I bought when I started going to the unmounted stamp convention years ago. Still one of my fave stamps too!  I made this to send to a fellow that is fighting a tough battle...trying to keep it manly and not too cutesy.  The sentiment is a Stampabilities that I inked in portions and punched with my SU oval punches.

I love making this image 3D. The drawer, kleenex box, and cup are all 3D with some real kleenex added for a fun touch. The main bee/chair image in on dimensionals as well.  I know this looks a wee plain, but I was trying to keep it simple. I used some of the new SU colors for the base and accents on this card.

Polka Dot Fun! Put your shades on!

I Know!!!! This card is bright! I made this late at night this weekend...and no, I was not drinking LOL! The challenge at Crazy4Challenges
this week is Polka Dots! Do you think maybe I went a little crazy?  Well, I do and I have been looking at this card for a week..but it has actually grown on me. The image is from alota Rubber Stamps and I bought a whole sheet of Molly Moo stamps at last years rubber stamp convention in March.(Just took me a while to get around to using them).
I changed up the image some and added hearts where the leaves/flowers are on the vines to make it more "Valentiney"  I wasn't real sure how to color a Holstein cow, but I gave it a shot (gotta be holsteins, right Melissa?)

Well, that's it for now. I do have a fun house mouse card to show this weekend as well as a sympathy card :(  to show you--just have to get the posts written up this weekend. See you then! Stay warm everyone...and don't rub it in Shirley N! LOL (Shirley lives in Hawaii where everyone stays warm)

And oh.....some fun things to be made with my Cricut too!

ETA: This card is going Becca...you can read about her HERE. I think it will cheer her up some.

3 Clovers Thursday Challenge #15-Ship Shape!

This weeks challenge over on Three Clovers Thursday Challenge is Ship Shape. You won't find any rectangle or square cards in this challenge...let's see what fun shape card you can make!

I bought this gardening shack stamp from alota Rubberstamps. All the accessories stamps are alota Rubberstamps except for the actual tulip flowers. I don't where they came from...had them for years! The flower pots are added on with dimensionals.

I drew the Get Well sign with my new Copic Multiliner SP. What a wonderful little pen! I like the fine line ..... .03. The SP pen is refillable and you can change out the nib if you need to! I do have the .02 that I received in the copic class too. I bought mine from Ellen Hutson, LLC. The link to her store is on the right of my blog. This wonderful little pen is great for drawing as well as journaling. It is safe to use with your copic pens and comes in several colors too. (my my that sounds like a commercial...but I so love this pen!)

Two Peas In a Pod---TWINS!

I made this card for my niece, who recently had twin boys.

I got these stamps from Alota Rubberstamps. They also have the cute bee stamps!
The sentiment stamp I bought at the scrapbooking convention and I am not sure who makes it and I can't find it right now...I think it was made my A Muse.

I used misc DP as well as green galore, red and bashful blue SU cardstock, red pin dot ribbon and my nesties and cuttlebug swiss dot folder as well.
