Welcome to a fun, Friday challenge blog hop! Get your old grubbies on, crawl into your storage space, grab one of your oldest stamps, blow off the dust and get to stamping! Whew....
Everything Old Is New Today!
Allison from
Stampin When I Can has organized this fun blog hop today...to encourage us all to use what we have...give those older stamps some inky lovin'!
I thought it would be fun to dust off one of the very first stamp sets I ever bought...Wreath Of Roses from Stampin Up! (2000)...yep a real oldie but goodie. Perfect for Valentine's Day too. I love giving new life to these older stamps when I get to incorporate them into a card with all the new toys and tools that have become popular since my older stamps were stuck back in the closet!....Add a nestie and a border punch, a few pearls and some lovely satin ribbon and Viola!!!!
I hope you can all join this challenge and maybe even win a $25 gift certifcate! Add a link to your creation on Allison's blog post by January 22 to be eligible for this prize!
This is the scoop from Allison's blog:
About a week ago, Sue posted a
card with a long forgotten stamp set. I commented that we should have a challenge where we created cards with a stamp/stamp set that we would first have to blow the dust off due to lack of use. Sue jumped on the suggestion and now, with the help of some other PSFs, we are hosting the "Everything Old is New Again" challenge.
Want to Join Us? (Of course you do!)
All you have to do is create a card with a stamp set that hasn't seen the light of day for some time. Then, link it up at
Allison's blog by
Friday, January 22nd at midnight (MDT) and you will be entered to win a $25 gift card to Michael's (thanks to Sue!).

What a sweet image, Sue. Aren't you glad you didn't give it away or sell it? Boy, do I have stamps to use for THIS challenge. I have the first stamp I ever bought back in the early 80's...a little bear. He's covered in red ink...what did I know about cleaning stamps then? Maybe I'll give him some love.
