A Day Wrapped in Sweet Surprises
I made this cute 3d trifold card with a cut file I found in the Silhouette Store and it is a perfect fit for our Birthday celebration challenge! It was easy to make and looks pretty impressive...sort of like I worked hours and hours on it...LOL...A cute card base can make a stamp shine don't you think?
Looks like our Patch Panda Bear is pretty surprised at that stack ! Yep-a pretty impressive stack of presents indeed! I think the sentiment and the stamp look like they were made for each other too!
The picture below shows how the card folds closed. I did tweak the cut file by resizing and adding an internal inset of designer paper panels to add that pop it needed. I also decorated the back of the card panels as they end up being the front and inside panels (the two panels with balloons) when you fold the card closed. I also added some balloons with twine to finish off the celebration!. The card is about one half inch thick, so this is not a mailing in an envelope type card!
This is what it looks like when I start folding it out...you can see that it does have a small box that is in the center that has the striped and swirly 3d balloons.

You're so clever and inspirational. I wouldn't be able to figure out how to make the inset, but I love how your card turned out. Must be me, but I couldn't link to Christine.

BRILLIANT use of the cuts and folds here. Love the Gruffies on one side and the dimension of balloons on the other. Great Bday card and take. WOW!

You are completely right about how impressive it looks. And I would have thought you did spend hours making it. What a gorgeous fancy fold.
