WOYW?W Happy 4th of July!!!

A couple times a year, I make a little treat for my co-workers. Since we work the cherry harvest and none of us seem to have a life during the summer months, a little pick me up goes a long way. Some of my co-workers save everything I give them and display them in their office. I always like to see them all lined up like that...I know that is a paper crafter's joy!

Today I am showing you the Patriotic  Lollipop Covers file that I bought from SVG Cuttings and cut out with my Silhouette. I make about 30 ish of these and decided the flag and Uncle Sam are my favorites, so I have cut a bunch of each...you can see them all piled up on my shelf behind my desk in the picture below.

You can see how the pops fit inside the cover here
Fun starred tootsie pops from Winco
Yeah...I nudged my work area in to the post today too...You can see the piles of pieces waiting to be glued still...I figure if I do 4 or 5 a night...I will be done by the 4th of July.  Looky at the pretty old mirror (minus the mirror) Any ideas out there?  Thinking of using it as a picture frame to hang on the wall....It was just too pretty to pass up...suggestions appreciated! Yep-I need to file away my copics too! You can also see a wedding photo of me and my firstborn on her wedding day-that's been a while (8 years I think) I certainly look younger!  Also a couple mini albums of my little grands that I like to look through and remember when they were little. I need to make more of these...such a joy to flip through!

Well, that is my work space today...4th of July projects and all! I do hope you can hop over to Julia's blog --Stamping Ground--and take a peek at what is happening on the other desks being shared. And don't forget to give a Julia a hug, she has been under the weather and we are all wishing her a speedy recovery!

Photo Op
The wind was blowing and the 'pops' were not cooperating. Their 'hair' is all wonky, one is leaning on the other(he's touching me Mom), they would not stay in line...sheesh!!!!! That really is how group photo's look of my kids too!

 Uncle Sam's Hat
 Firecracker
 Flag and Star
 Uncle Sam-my favorite!

Hi,
I'm just doing a quick visit round my favourite Wednesday blogs before I plough into my huge work load for today.
For one awful moment I did a double take and wondered what had happened to the last few days of June :-) Love all your fun makes.

These are too cute, Sue! Gosh, just cutting them all looks like a big job -- even computerized cutting. You're a great co-worker to have around. Good luck getting them all assembled!

Hi Sue,

I love the tootsie pop holders for July 4! Very cute. I can't believe its already the end of June. Time does go by faster the older you are.....

The mirror is interesting. Using as a frame is a good idea. Keep us posted.

Happy WOYWW
Peace, Kay (17)

You've inspired me to get out my Silhouette again. Your cuts look so professional. I need a bit of practice I think!
Have a lovely week

Ha Sue, these are fabulous! You are so genenrous with your time - as great as they are, they come from a LOT of cut pieces! I think Uncle Sam is my favourite just only by a whisker (ha ha) because of his silly beard - you could turn it upside down and call it ice cream!! The best thing however, is learning that you can get a looly shaped tootsie roll...oh my favourite sweetie ever...they have the rolls in the import aisle of my local supermarket, but work out at about $4 each, so I do a lot of window shopping!!The Mirror is gorgeous..pad it and cover it with fabric..add some pearly headed pins and use it to hold your dangly earrings? Like you, I wouldn't have let it go...might even be worth having it re-glazed...
