Wha't On You Workdesk Wednesday #114- You Quack Me Up!

He we go with What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #114 I think! My how time flies when you are having fun with a challenge...I took a browse back at all my WOYWW posts  just to see my progress over the last almost year and a half...You can see my first post HERE.  I see my desk organization has changed some over time, my pen collection has grown a lot, and candy still has a  prominent place! Some things never change!

A lot of you commented on my red ATG gun last week...do you not have this one over seas? I know Michael's now sells a pink one! I bought mine at Framing Supplies almost 3 years ago. I bought this model because it only uses 1/4 inch tape and the yellow one uses both 1/4 and 1/2.

Thought I would show you this nifty sheet I found on the net somewhere. I use it to record the info on my creations so I don't have to carry everything downstairs to my computer to write up my post. If I ever find it again I will link it here, Truthfully, I don't even know where I saved it on my computer...It lists the stamp name, ribbons, inks, papers, punches, buttons, brads, glitter , stickers, chalks, markers, brads, gems, die cuts, embossing, techniques etc..., and room for misc info. A nifty paper to have handy. I think you could type your own sheet up in excel pretty quickly too.

 You Quack Me Up!!!

Finally finished this Penny Black card I had sitting on my desk from last week. The challenge was to make a card using a PB stamp to make a background. Didn't get it done on time so I finished it up tonight and it will fit into the Penny Black Saturday Challenge #163-Anything Goes...guess I waited until just the right time! This also fits into the Penny Black  Allsorts Free and Easy Challenge! Wow...double whammy! Gotta love my PB stamps...I have some new ones waiting to be inked!!!!

Take a jaunt over to Julia's house and say hello to all the "desk people" over there!

Nice creative desk there - good idea with the printed list I always keep a note of what I used on what items usually in a little book or on the back of the item (depends what it is used for!) - love your card good luck in the challenge.

Darling card! Very clever idea for creating the background. Those are some of my favorite PB stamps. I like your list. I write the supplies I used on scrap paper as I am making my cards. Then enter it into the computer as soon as I finish so I don't forget anything I used.

I love this card! It is so cute and adorable. That project sheet is AWESOME! I always write my info of tiny bits of paper that I always lose before getting to the computer to type up my project. Gotta track this one down. Thanks for sharing!

Hiya Sue,

You always quack us up. I notice Cole and Luke piccys on the current desk but I was looking everywhere for candy on the older shot - like a where's waldo of hot tamales. Never did find them, which is why you have a much better eye than I do. Smart organization all the way around.

oh what PB stamps did you get??!! lol, i'm nosy! LOL! ;-) I've checked your first post on What's on your workdesk?. ahhh lots of copics now! LOL! :-) what kind of comments did you get over that glue tape?? I've been always wondering ... is it Cheaper than Tombow mono adhesive, 3 in one package, using 40% off at Michaels?? Always looking for the adhesive, good enough & cheapest! :-) I didn't have time to make a card for PB sat. challenge last week either....your card is Cute :-) I miss those ducks from PB...

That's a great card, very funny. Did you see that Archivers had a one day only special on Monday? 40% of all stamps, never been heard of before for that store, so I popped in after work and got four PB's for $19! That's a great form! I just take the laptop upstairs, lol!

I just had to take a minute to stop by. I always enjoy it so much. I've been nose to the grindstone and I need a little diversion. Saw the candy on your desk and remembered I saw some Red Hots in the cupboard, so here I sit at 10:30 pm eating Red Hots. Nothing like a little heartburn at bedtime. Hey, your chart is much more tidy than the Post It notes I scrawl my info on. Cute card! You do quack me up!

Great desk and interesting blog - think the list is a great idea - I always end up typing up my list in retrospect when I'm uploading the photographs - easy when I have the card in front of me but more difficult doing it from photographs/memory :( Love your quackers - he is gorgeous. What a wonderful laugh I got from this darling card. And, from the looks of your desk, it hasn't changed to much except the cup of ice is gone and replaced with some sweet tarts. I was around when sweet tarts were introduced.
