I am a lot late with  my card today. You see...there is a good excuse!

My excuse:

I am getting ready to retire and dang-when you are home almost every day do you know what day it is?  Well after working 30 years, I guess when I am given days off, I have not a clue what day of the week it actually is! I have two more days to work and then I am done, done, and done!

Card info:

I colored my image with copics and then masked it off to sponge the background.  I cut the heart stencil with my Silhouette  using some wide labeling tape for the stencil. That worked pretty slick!

Stamp Used:

Icing Roses

Super cute card. I love the color combo.

I have to say that we used to always laugh at mama when she was alive because she never knew what day it was more than 1/2 the time. Well, since my husband retired we have experienced the same thing. No more hurry up and get things done because he only has the weekend off when he had the weekend off so I understand. [Bunny]

Pretty stamp, beautiful coloring! Someone would probably blame the kids for picking off those rose candle holders, sheesh! I'm so excited for your retirement!! I knew I would love it and I surely have loved every minute of it the last few years. Every now and then I pause to appreciate how great it is compared to being at work. All the fun had gone out of my job, but now life is great! Congratulations, Sue!!

Congrats on your retirement! YAY YOU! I get the loss of days.. I have that problem in the Summertime when I'm not working at school! LOL I always forget what day it is... I guess that's why I need a schedule.. keeps me on the know! hahaha
Enjoy your last 2 days!! :)

Outstanding color work and colors!! Love your beautiful crd, someone is going to love getting it too.

Congrats on your retirement, you are going to love it! I have been one of those people that missed work. I worked for 35 years, only took time off when I had my daughter, so was I ever ready! Enjoy your free time now.
