Pop Up Cards by Lori Whitlock
I found these patterns in the Silhouette Store and knew I had to make them!. There are many different themes in this style. I have changed this design up to personalize it for the recipients.
This card is for my brother Chris. My brother has been fighting cancer for over 5 years. He is an amazing person and such an inspiration. He takes chemo everyday and still gets up and goes to work-he always keeps busy driving wheat combines, cats and whatever big machines he can get his hands on! He really is motivated to keep going and live his life to the fullest! What a guy!
He loves to ride motorcycles and also is getting ready to go to Burning Man for a vacation(huge art and music festival in the middle of the Nevada desert). I added the motorcycle and the Burning Man icon(instead of the camper) to make this special for him! I also changed the front black panels into road pieces by cutting little rectangles to mimic center dividing road lines and adding a yellow piece behind. I added some of the trees and the clouds on pop dots for added dimension. I included a panel on the back of the card to write my message. These files are so easy to personalize! I love this card design!
This second card is for my friend in Alaska. She works for a School Bus company. With all the trees this just reminded me of Alaska. I thought long and hard about deleting the sun on this one LOL!! Maybe should have added more clouds and some rain??!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! You and Deloris pick out the best templates at the store and bring them to life. I must now go get these. You have done this several times to me, but that's quite ok... I'm sorry about your brother fighting cancer. He's quite the person to continue doing things he loves to the fullest. I lost my brother a few months ago to ALS and he did the same and so proud of him being such a fighter and full of wonderful spirit. Your friend will love the card. I don't know anything about Alaska except watch Ice Road Truckers...haha
A really incredible card. It really is a special card. I love your scenes.

Love the school bus Pop Up card, so cute!
Thanks for joining Die Cuttin' Divas this week!
How awesome! The first is amazing with the Burning Man icon. Friends of ours go to Burning Man most every year. It sounds pretty cool, but sooooo hot and dusty. Good on your brother for keeping on like he does. The school bus is super cute, especially for this time of year. I can imagine how many different scenes you could make with this. Such a fun card to receive and open and see the landscape unfold!
Love how bright this card is! Thank you for joining us at Creative Craft Cottage. Cindy (DT)
