Challenge #37 "Anything Goes"

Doesn't this character tickle you? I just grinned when I first saw this cut file created by Snapdragon Snippets and purchased through the Silhouette Store. My Sweetie's Father is quite a Fisherman-so this card was just perfect for his Father's Day Card. He's one of those guys that watches the mailbox for his special card! I just love that!
I used some SU! craft for the base of this card and then The Paper Loft Hooked on Fishing 6x6 patterned paper. The fun part of this card was searching through all my scrap drawers for just the right color of browns and greens to use. It has a gazillion pieces, but was so fun to put together!
I used a yellow base and different pieces from my scrap drawers for Gardener Gal. A fun part of these files was deciding which pieces to add pop dots too..such fun dimension!
There are a whole series of designs like this, so you will probably see more down the road!

I swear I thought I left a comment so glad I was revisiting your blog. Perhaps I was at the beach. I remember thinking how doggone cute these cute file cards were, but sometimes the Internet is weak and can't send out mail or comments but can look. Anyway, glad I came back to look....so dang cute...I have several friends who love to fish and gardeners so I guess these will be on wish list. I bought a bunch of things when they had a sale a few weeks back.
These cards are fantastic - I love them. Now you make be want a Silhouette and I haven't even used my Scan N Cut yet. I know Sue - shame on me!!!! Besides, I don't have room for a Silhouette!
