Today I am using the stamp set Texting BFF's. The reason--- Yes, you need to hear....the rest of the story!
My Sister In Law and I are two peas in a pod...we are pretty responsible Grandmas most all the time, but when we get together...we do a lot of uncontrollable laughing! I just smile thinking about all the fun we have had together over the years...all 40 of them! Sheesh...were does the time go??? Although we get busy and don't always stay in touch like we should, when we get together it is like it was yesterday! Sisters of the heart for sure!
With the new technology of the day, we both are learning the texting thing and struggle with that darned AUTO CORRECT-(who doesn't?) But, HEY MAN, we are getting pretty darned good at it!
I do not remember where our greeting "HEY MAN" came from, but we have always greeted each other this way-and we know who is calling when we hear those words!!!
I used the paper pad Oxford Lane by My Minds Eye to coordinate our outfits...we are pretty styling! I did a print and cut with my Silhouette for the thought bubbles/sentiment.
I hope you enjoyed this card! I had fun making this card-especially with all the memories it brought back including of our fun zip lining Hawaii trip last fall) I really should post that video sometime...Love you Kristie!!!

This is absolutely adorable and I can think of a dozen people to send that card to LOL Love it. Hugs, Cathy k
Great card! I have that image too through a win! What a great story. I read every word. My sister was so much older so we weren't close growing up but now that we are so much OLDER...haha....we talk a lot and she's just learning to text. Did you also create "hey man" in Silhouette as well?
LOVE this card and story, Sue! Adorentge sentiments on the yellw gingham!! SUPER CUTE!!!!!

Beautifully colored and love the color combo. That really is so sweet! I've never had such a great relationship with my SIL's - so you're super lucky!
Ha, this is great!
Just made me smile!
Wonderful story!
I love your HM card in the previous post too!
This is so cute! I just had this out the other day looking at it and wanting to color it. Got someone in mind... I mean, it's so real these days. I can't do a bunch of texting because it triggers my trigger thumbs. 'Fraid I'm stuck in the old ways, like it or not. It's definitely fun seeing this card today! Cute story! I love those kinds of friends!
Really cute card, Sue! Loved the story, too!
Morning Sue, wow stunning colored image and adorable design.
Hugs Diane
What a fun story and fun card for your SIL! Turn the auto-correct off and text long-hand! That's the only text I can understand! LOL
Sue, I just loved your card! And yes, we do have similar styles (must be because we're both grandmothers - she winks). And may I tell you what a very good friend of mine once told me. The reason you can go for periods of time and then catch right back up like it was yesterday is because you have a history together.
Now, let me get back to your card. First, I adore AI characters as much as I do Mo's illustrations, and Penny Black. When I can create a card and tell a story -- I'm all over it!
You've coloring is wonderful (I'm not surprised). And if it take s a little time well...Hey Man, it's worth it!) Thank you for your visit to my blog this evening. I look forward to getting to know you better. Three cheers for grandmother's who know how to text LOL.
Sincerely, Susie ~
Uncontrollable laughing is what keeps you young at heart and what makes life fun. Your card is a perfect reflection of you and your sister in law. Clever, fun and super girly adorable.
This is a really cute card! Great colors. I just used an image on my latest card that my hubby colored with copics for me about 4 or 5 YEARS ago. Not that I am slow card maker or anything...smile.
