What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday
Boy oh Boy...it has been ages since I joined in the fun at What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday. Life and work has gotten so crazy, it is hard to fit in everything I want to do! I thought I would take a quick snapshot of my desk to show that it still looks the same... a new computer monitor..the other one bit the dust. You can see just a bunch of crud all over...phones, tv remote, cardmaking supplies, nothing really very exciting, but hey-I was missing my crafty friends across the ocean...time to see what is up with Lunch Lady Jan, Wipso & Twiglet, Bluebeard and Elizabeth, Barf Snoodlefart, 505whimsygirl and many many more....you can tell just by these few names they are a very creative lot!!!! Stop in and say hello to Julia at the Stamping Ground and join the fun if you have a few minutes!
I do have a peek at a couple cards you can see in the picture of my desk sitting over by my open Silhouette machine. They are both the same design, but slightly different papers and crystals. I needed a birthday card for a special lady-so here you go-----
Cupcake cut file is from Miss Kate's Cuttables. You can buy it on her site, or in the Silhouette Store. It is pretty detailed...love all the teeeeeny tiny dark brown outlines that are added to the top of each treat...a little tricky to get glued on, but with patience I managed. Don't know what I was thinking when I decided to added a teeeeny tiny brown rim on top of the white circle...in hindsight I would cut a brown circle slightly larger that the white circle-would have been sooooo much easier, but I wanted it to mimic the brown pieces on top of the cupcakes and cupcake holder.
The cute sentiment is from a My Craft Spot-- Tasty Treats stamp set...a perfect pair!
Well, back to watching the finale of The Voice! I swore I would be in bed early tonight and wouldn't you know-The Voice is 3 hours long tonight and I have to see who wins!!!
Thanks for stopping in today-see you soon!

The cards are lovely - well worth the extra effort. Your desk looks perfectly normal, for a crafter, to me! Have a great week, Chris # 17 x
I work on the Voice here in Australia and believe me I am also in rapture at times and so bored at others, it is one really great show and the bonus is it helps fund my habit of craft too, what a giggle ha. Love your Birthday cards, very cheery. Hope you have a wonderful week, I hope you catch up with the others they are a fun bunch.

Fab to see your cheerful desk again girly, and the fiddle factor in those outlines...gawd..amazing citing for sure, but oh how patient you are!
I'm only just doing my rounds to catch up with all my blogging friends....it's been a busy day with lots of extra cuddles needed by my little poorly munchkins.

Hi Sue Happy WOYWW. Very cute cup cake cards - great machine to do all the cutting for you, sadly I'm still with the scissors. Cheers and have a great week RobynO#19
Crud? What crud? I don't see any curd! But I do see some delicious cup cakes -- yum. I betcha you could make these too!!!
Sandy xx
You are so good with the Silhouette and I love how you're loving it. Hey, your desk looks like mine, minus the computer equipment. It does get piled up easily, doesn't it. Cute cards!
I love your cupcake cards Sue, they are great and you can't go wrong with cake! Thanks for sharing your workspace photo, it made me chuckle. Stuff everywhere and a two inch space to work in. Ha ha ha. Mine is exactly the same! xxx
These cupcakes are so yummy! What a detailed work on all the elements of these treats!
Thank you so much for stopping at my blog, Sue!
I have never heard about measuring tape purses/pouches. It sounds very interesting and unique. Will do a Google search on it. Thank you so much for the idea! :)
All I can say is yummers, what a 'delicious' card!
