What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 246

Wow, it has been a long time since I joined Julia's group across the pond!  Here is my desk today...a wee bit out of hand! I have really not been crafting at all this week. I have been doing big people work(working on tax stuff for my family) so no time to get crafty unfortunately. Hopefully soon! You can see a few stamps half buried on my desk, an unfinished Valentine, and piled in front of my beloved Silhouette is more bookwork to finish when I get home from my real job. OH MY! I am going to hunker down and get 'er done so I can do a little craftin soon...new toys have arrived in the mail and they are calling my name! LOL

I did go to Urban Paper (my local crafty store) to my monthly cookbook club night. Jill makes up the pages, (Two 6x6 pages tonight)---we scrap from a premade kit and taste the recipe! She does all the work and we get to enjoy it all! Thanks Jill!  I LOVE that Impression Obsession tree die!

Well, that's it for me tonight...I might just go and clean my desk after seeing this picture YIKES!!!

Hop over the Julia's Stamping Ground and join in WOYW?W #246! (did you notice her blog on my monitor?)

See you soon!

Sue

I hate tax and every month I am having to pay tax and do BAS statements etc, I run my own business and it is hard sometimes so I do understand, I get it out of the way really fast so I can move onto playing with my toys in the art room. Great recipe page, so bright and cheery.

Have a great crafting week and Happy WOYWW

Hi Sue. Good to see you back. You have been missed :-)
I'm sure lots of us are shamed into tidying after seeing the pics of our desks[ personally I just fail to show you the worse lol].

That recipe card is just great. Love the colouring. Don't be in too much of a hurry to tidy your desk - the messy ones are far more interesting lol.

Your desk might be 'busy' but at least you are accomplishing something Sue.

Your pages look nice. The red and green are just so fresh. I would not be able to do other work if I was sitting in a craft area. So hats off to you for being so strong.

There's always those darn big people's jobs to do. Not much crafting here for over a week, either. I'm glad you got to go to your cookbook club, though, 'cause now I have a new recipe to try. Sounds like so much fun and you're creating the cutest cookbook while you're at it!

Paperwork and taxes, ugh! Hope you can get back to your busy desk again soon. Love the recipe book, I remember you posting these before from previous sessions. I sat by the window at work earlier and watched the white out blizzard accompanied by thunder turn to sleet, freezing rain and then torrential rain! Later on we'll be dealing with more rain and thunder coupled with 50mph winds! Crazy is the word!

Lovely to see you sue, am loving the cobbler-ish pie bars..almost as much as the cute LO, it's really a nice one. I love to see that despite taxes and real work and extra work work, your desk still has colour on it.

That recipe looks good, Sue - and the page looks so much fun. Well done. Trust you have got all the boring stuff out of the way now, so you can play.
Sorry to be so late getting round this week - life in the way!

I would not dare show you my desk - I would rather you go through my under wear drawer than to see my desk!
I do so envy your crafting cookbook group. Great pages and I love cookbooks. I love cookbooks more that I like to cook I am afraid. These pages look splendid!

I spent all this time trying to figure out cherry bar WHATS?! When all I had to do was scroll down and find out the answer. Fabulous recipe pages and I'll bet they tasted divine as well. I had to giggle that your desk photo made you want to go clean it up. I can relate to that. I dusted mine last night so it wouldn't have a dust sheen on it this week. Thanks for the visit. I had a 4-day weekend, hence my late visit now.
