Today I will be officiating at the wedding of my forever friend Charla and her sweetie Rick! Being a somewhat shy person, this is going to be a stretch for me as a wedding that started at 40 people is now around 125 ish LOL! And to beat it all, both Charla and I have gotten very sick the last two days with a nasty cold and flu...oh goodness I hope she makes it through the ceremony and I don't lose my voice!!!
I am sure there are going to be stories told for a long time about this day....
I cut this out and added it to their present using some fun doodlebug papers. The file is a
Silhouette cut file that can be found here. #16202 Sarah Bailey
I had this vision of a pretty wrapped present and ornaments topped with a white feather boa...did not go as planned as I was spitting out feathers like crazy once I cut into the boa...drats! I added silk ribbon to the ornaments instead and tied the boa around the present...pretty Christmassy I must say!!! Not as elegant as I envisioned but a heck of a lot more fun!
I made a pair of Mr and Mrs ornaments with glitter inside the ball...oh my what a mess again...I know you remember that glitter and I do not mix either Ha! The words are added with white vinyl with the Lavendaria font. Both ornaments have the date on the other side of the ball.
I will let you know how I managed tonight...covered with glitter and spittin' feathers and coughing with a cold in front of all the wedding guests!!! Good thing Charla and Rick love me...

You are going to do just fine! Can't wait to hear stories and see photos :-) your gift packaging turned out beautifully! It will by far be the prettiest gift at the wedding. Good luck, dear friend! We have to do the scripture readings and prayer and light advent candles at church tomorrow, and we both have coughs and laryngitis...hope we survive! Hugs...
We do love you and you did an awesome job officiating the wedding! Thank you bestie!
fabulous card Sue.

WOW!! This is such a creative and fun project Sue!! Loving the personalized message and the cute ornament!! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and all the best for a great New Year my friend! :) HUGS
Do you have winners to announce from past contests??? I'm sure by now you have emailed them, but I haven't see the chocolate winner. I think I saw the House Mouse winner, but now I don't see it.
Hope you are feeling better by now. Looking fwd to hearing all abt the wedding!

This makes such a pretty package, and I think if you're spittin' feathers it will make their wedding all that much more memorable. Enjoy yourself, and merry Christmas!
Fantastic! I love the ornaments you did!
Merry Christmas to you, Sue!
I'm picturing you with feathers in your mouth and trying to get them out with red glitter stuck to your fingers;) I think your project is lovely and I'm sure they will have those ornaments for many, many years and will always think of their special day and the person who so lovingly made something so personal just for them. Very thoughtful gift!
Very lovely card for the wedding and I love the ornaments!
I hope you hade a fabulous Christmas!

So cute and so clever too! I'm sure it was a big hit. I'm getting back to crafting after the holidays. I have lots of blogs and comments to catch up on so plan to spend this morning on the internet. Hope you have a great New Year!

Hope you made it through the day. If you did half as good as what you did on these projects, well then everyone will be elated! You are talented in so many ways!
