It stinks....and here's the rest of the story!

Jammie Day Sunday!

Okay-I know I have a lot of explaining to do about this card. If you remember my last week's post, I told you I had this other card ready to post and decided it was not "pretty" enough to post on Mother's Day-and now you see why LOL!

I am not sure if you remember this card I made with the cute skunk and stinky sentiment-

At the first of the year I sent this card to a dear friend struggling with serious health issues.

Last week he was telling me that after his latest surgery  he was sure the meds were making him have very strange dreams. One night he said there was a skunk chasing him and "got/sprayed" him good. So...I had to make him another 'stinky' card! LOL.  We both work at a cherry processing plant, so not only did I get a skunk on this card, but a sparkly cherry tree too! I hope when he  gets this card  it will give him a big smile.

This  is a reminder just how much your special hand made creations are appreciated-so keep on sending your creations-they do make a difference!

Big grin on my face - I love skunks. I think they are beautiful. One year we had an albino skunk - she was really something!!

This really is cute! and you are so right, about the personalized cards. It's why I make cards. I was asked last year to make a card for a man who had a double lung surgery. (he's doing just fine, by the way) she wanted lungs on a card. I told her, "I guess you couldn't find one like that in a Card store"...LOL I managed to make one and she loved it and He did too. Showed his doctor the card.

These are both adorable! I love skunk images. I have "collected" several, and really need to do some stinkin' cards! lol!

While it is sad that your friend has been sick, the story was delightful! Wonderful card. Yup, remember you said you had a card you weren't going to post. I also didn't know that you worked at cherry plant. Yum! I made cherry pit pads for friends and sold some also. The shipping was more than the purchase of the pits, but I love my the cherry pit pads with the pits. Now you have me interested in looking into it again...time for some more cherry pit pads.

Sue, I hope your friend is much improved by now. Your little skunk card is so cute with his own little cherry orchard. Did you cut the skunk from the silhouette, too? It's a super cute card, and I love every little detail right down to those cute little eyes! hugs, de

Oh, it will give him a huge smile, no doubt about it! It was probably your first card that gave him the dream. This is perfect! Love it!
