WOYW?W- World Book Night 2013

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday? Tonight I swiveled around from my desk to show you the table right behind me in my family room...it holds my SU! scoreboard and guillotine cutter...underneath are some holders with my 6x6 paper pads and some of my 12 x12 paper in the larger holders, the white box holds my Art Impression stamps(card coming soon), a basket on the floor with cards and a few other doo dahs. On top of  the table is also my embossing gun...not much of an embosser, but I use it to heat and  unstick crooked papers etc on my cards-ALOT-I like things straight LOL!

Last week I had Luigi all colored up on my desk-if you want to see how cute he turned out-click HERE.

Today in the US is World Book Night 2013
I see they have one in the UK and Ireland too...and Germany I think!
My local scrapbooking store, Urban Paper, was participating by giving out one of the book selections-Thanks Jill!!!
What perfect timing-now I can show you these cute little bookmarks I made with my Silhouette(templates available in the online Silhouette Store)!
Makes me smile!!!!
I have more...they are addictive!

That's it for tonight...a quick post! Take a few minutes and pop over to the 203rd WOYW?W post...there are close to 200 players every week, so you have lots of desks to pick from-pick a few and say Hi! A quick Hello to Julia at The Stamping Ground and be on your way to desks around the world.

Hi there. Thanks for the peek into your creative world. That book is fabulous, my parents lived in Botswana for many years and the book is very true to life. A great story.

I love those bookmarks! Thanks for the tip about heating and unsticking crooked papers. No matter how hard I try, something always seems to be crooked!

great looking crafty space. I love those book marks but now that I have switched over to the Nook I never use one! I love the e-books a lot. Hope you have a great week and thanks for sharing. I forgot it was even Wednesday until 11:50pm CDT! so I am a little late getting around. OMG! Memory issues again. Oh well better late then never. Vickie #145

Your space puts me to shame! WOW! It is so clean! I might just be shamed into cleaning up, might... if I don't find cool stuff I forgot I had while cleaning that is. LOL

It's been since forever since I visited. Luckily, I found you easily. That's a lovely desk to keep those tools on. I admit, I got to use a score thingy (MS) at a friend's and now I'm HOOKED. Wish I made more cards because it really works!

I realize I'm a bit late getting here, but still wanted to wish you a happy belated WOYWW from #7.

Hi Sue,

I love Alexander McCall Smith. I'm pretty sure I've read all the books in The No. 1 Ladie's Detective Agency series.

The table behind your desk is quite tidy!
