WOYWW 192

I made this pretty sympathy card for a dear friend. I wanted it to be a  special  creation for her.
I used a freebie svg cut from Birds Cards for the swirly back drop. I also used a pretty new stamp set I won from winning a MOJO Monday Challenge. It is a Verve stamps-just lovely. I added some silky May Arts ribbon and a few pearls to finish it off.

I made a pretty  box envelope for 3D  creations using another Birds freebie.

I need a crew to help me...I have been looking for a specific stamp all night!!! Opening every drawer and looking through them 2 and 3 times. I know it is probably sitting in plain site too. Frustrating!!!
I think I will call a truce for the night  and  hope it's hiding place comes to me in my sleep! Argghhh...

I am off to bed, but not before I pop in to say hello to Julia and a few others over at What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. You can take a peek at desks all over the world too(and if you spot a missing penguin stamp-please let me know)

Good night-Sue

Lovely Sympathy card- the hardest ones to make, I think. I discovered Birdscards a couple of weeks ago, I was amazed at how many files she has on there. Have a great week, Hugs,xx Shaz #75

Gorgeous card Sue! I love it! It's so soft and feminine! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. Re: missing stamp. Just yesterday I was going crazy trying to find a Spellbinders die set that co-ordinates with a Hampton Art stamp set. I looked everywhere! Finally found it near the end of the day under a package of special white card stock that is specific for using markers on. A trick I've used in the past: Put a glass upside down on the counter-it helps you remember where you left it. I've used this method and most of the time it works. My sarcastic hubby usually says "You'll find it in the last place you look!" LOL

Your card is beautiful!
Hope you found your missing stamp! I know just how you feel, I have turned my stamp room inside out trying to find my Stampin' Up chef stamp, it's a favorite, and the very first SU stamp I purchased. I think it must have walked away somewhere.

Lovely card. Don't beat yourself up. You will find it. When my stuff is missing, it usually means my 15 yr old daughter has walked off with it.

Hope you have a chance to check out my blog and desk.
Have a great day.

Hope you found the stamp you were looking for. You have such a nice neat desk I would imagine it will show up if it hasn't already! Love the card. I wish sometimes I had a machine that could cut svg files. I have a Cricut and a big shot, a big shot pro, and a Vagabond and can't buy another right now! Have a great week and thanks for stopping by my desk and leaving a commment! Vickie #33

Your card is lovely. And your desk is so neat and tidy. I bought a set of stamps that has lots of little words that can be made to make phrases. I can't find it anywhere.

Gorgeous! What a beautiful swirly cut background and pretty colors. Very nice for your friend and she'll appreciate it. I hope you find your stamp. I've had that happen, too. I lost a stamp set for a long time and finally came across it in a hanging file of cardstock.

Beautiful sympathy card and I love the envie too! Put some jelly beans on your desk, and that penguin will probably be lured from it's hiding place :)

Didn't spot no Penguin but I so do like that gorgeous card you made and the envie is pretty too. TFS
