WOYW?W #173

Don't let this fool you! This is the tidy end of the desk LOL!

Tonight I am finishing up a project for the Creations by AR blog hop on Thursday morning....yes, last minute details! Obviously I am playing with my Silhouette tonight. I opened up the drawer so you could peek into my "close at hand tools" that I use...tape, glue dots, cutter tools, memento black ink, ruler, zip dry glue(a new fave for 3D projects).
I also had this drawer sitting at the other end of my desk...all my pretty-knotted- twine.  Remember this post?..I decided it is time to finish the rest of the twine. I thought if I put it on WOYWW, it would motivated me to get moving! I can't believe that was clear back on WOYWW #139-almost a year ago.  I have decided to keep this drawer close by and grab a 'wad' of twine now and then to twirl onto a clothespin. GET motivated girl!

Here is a blurry pic of the project I finished up tonight...so very fun. Come peek on Thursday to see the whole thing...hopefully in focus!

I think you should all jump in and show off your space today...you can be a wee bit late-Julia doesn't care! Take a hop over to Julia's Stamping Ground!

Now it looks like you're going to do something madly creative with that knotted twine. I'm wondering because I always have plenty of knotted DMC floss! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh at #11

Twine has a mind of it's own doesn't it but it's definitely something we can't live without. Good luck with your organising.
Looking at your other drawer that's something you are obviously really good at, I don't think I have a drawer in the whole house that is a neat and tidy as yours.
Happy WOYWW

That is quite a tangle of fibers, ribbons and yarns. It will be nice to have it all sorted out. I used to have a ribbon box that looked like that. I wound all the ribbon scraps up and put them in little zip lock bags and into bigger zip lock bags by color (and then put them back into the box). I use them all the time now because they are so easily accessible. Having things organized really makes a difference!
