I recently had a dear friend visit from the wilderness state of Alaska. Unfortunately, I had to work everyday during harvest, so she had to entertain herself during the day. I set her up on my Silhouette and set up files for her to play with. She is a manager for a school bus firm, so we found this fun school bus template and went to town! We did a little welding to make it into a stand up card to give to her drivers at the start of the school year. Can you believe we cut and assembled 50 of these buses??????...Needless to say we were sick of wheels, hubcaps, headlights and stop signs after a few days of glue sticking to our fingers LOL! We do tend to be ambitious when we get together and craft, don't we Linda?????
We got to chatting and talked about how the school bus looked so empty and sad. so I went to rustling through my stamps sets to find someone to ride in our bus. I found this retired SU! stamp (Kids At Play-1999) I am still amazed that this kid stamp was an absolutely perfect fit for the bus windows!!!
Hope you enjoyed this Back To School post! I am linking to Simon Says Stamp Back To School Gallery for August!
Thanks for stopping by to say Hello today!
