WOYW?W #152

Welcome to

I just had to finally ink up these darling stamps and use a technique that Debby from the DT at the Penny Black blog uses on her cards. It is such an amazing look-she is the "Queen of Everything" when it comes to layering her images!  I finally found some larger embossing tools so I could make my images 'rounded' if that makes any sense. It is hard to tell on these pictures.

Swingin'

Maybe a tad bit cleaner this week. Started on a HMouse card which has since been put off to the side with the other images...a wee bit of focus issues here tonight LOL.  On to something else. You can see a fun cookbook club page off to the left-from a once a month class where we scrapbook a recipe (6x6 size) and also sample the the recipe! Yummy! This  month was Hawaiian Sweet Bread...Oh goodness was it ever delish!

In the center of my desk you will see a paper with 3 columns. A wonderful discovery from the web. It is actually a worksheet where I can list all the products I use on a card instead of carrying everything downstairs to my computer to type up my post! It lists things like Card name, stamps, patterned paper, cardstock, inks, markers, pencils, flower, ribbon/fiber, brads, stickers, glitter, gems, buttons, die cuts, embossing, paper punches, border punches, other/unknown and techniques uses. You could easily make one up with you own details.  I can use this same sheet for 3 creations (each column is the same)  I think I would add copics to this list, but now I just scribble them under  "other".

Thanks for popping in to say Hello today. Go take a tour of the world's crafty desks over at Julia's What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday.

Off to watch The Voice and do a little stamping tonight!

That's a very clever idea. I have the same problem sometimes. My computer is upstairs and both craft areas are either on the first floor or basement area of the house. Great idea!! Happy WOYWW from #4 this week.

Gorgeous card Sue :-) such a cute image and the layering looks fab :-) I got that tip from Debby too and it really does make them look much nicer than just flat and popped on pop dots ,, rounded and more realistic eh :-)

In answer to your question ,, yes the video was in the class ,, it was well worth doing and although the class finished yesterday you can still register :-)
