I saw this creation made by Meg at Corgi Creations. She's a talented crafter and boy can she give her Silhouette machine a work out! Her creations are so inspiring! This is a CASE of a card she made and I could not get it out of my head. I love 3D cards! She has a template she shares on her blog so pop on over and give it a try!
I have a couple of dear friends that have been under the weather, so I made these cards into get well cards with my banner sentiment. They are a little hard to read in the pictures, but in person they show very well.
I had to try a couple different paint jobs on the houses! Everything was cut with the silhouette except the little Penny Black puppy I had to add!
The best way for me to learn, is to hop right in and try making something like this. It helped me get familiar with the Silhouette software-which I just love! Thanks Meg for sharing your inspiration .
card details:
--------------------------------------
Silhouette files: Meg's files, Silhouette picket fence, detailed house card kit
Stamps: Dog from Penny Black--Stay!!!
Cardstock: Kraft, Certainly Celery, White, Rich Razzleberry, DP from SU! Cottage Wall

Looky---even the doors open
This is what it looks like when the card is closed. (It doesn't really stay shut like this very well )I had to try a couple different paint jobs on the houses! Everything was cut with the silhouette except the little Penny Black puppy I had to add!
