Boy Oh Boy! by Lily of the Valley

Here is the card I made yesterday...and then ripped apart and remade it! Trust me...if I think it was in need of a makeover...it needed it! I hate when I make a mistake and a card is all done! Just sayin I screwed up a wee bit with the scissors on this one! Got a little snip crazy LOL!

I use an ATG gun...have you ever tried unsticking your papers without ripping the dickens out of them? I read this nifty tip the other day and it has opened up my world. I am one of those stampers that has to glue it all down and then decide if I like it. Wish I wasn't like that...but now I have solved the problem of placing the paper crooked or in the wrong place.

Tip of the Day!: How to remove something that is stuck down with ATG tape????
Take your embossing gun and gently heat the back of the paper and then everything will just peel away! ( I knew I kept that embossing gun around for something!)

I took this card completely apart last night, added some stitching and a few  "bits and bobs"  and was happy that I did. This one is going to my little Cole! He is enjoying his summer break for sure! Oh the joy's of a 3 year old! (okay Gwamma...almost 4!)

I used  Jen's monthly sketch SFYTT July 2011.

I am also entering this in Papertake Weekly Challenge after seeing Lorraine's pretty card HERE. The challenge is anything goes with extra credit for buttons. Love the sweet LOTV image she used!
I had planned to add this to the last LOTV challenge, but I just missed out! I am such a pokey stamper LOL!

Hope you enjoy!

I want to welcome Jovi @ Inky Impressions (probably my longest running stamping buddy!) , Lynn @ Late Night Crafter (and a faithful HM stamper and kind SCS commenter- LOL)and Marianne (sorry I can't find a link to you Marianne) as new followers as well as my new feedblitz followers. I wish I could link feedblitz followers, but I don't know how or where to find you. If you are a newbie follower through fblitz, just email me, and I will link your blog!

Wow, I love this, Sue. Didn't see it the first time around but I love the re-make. Thanks for the un-gluing tip, too. What a darling image that is. I love the look of sewing on a card but haven't tried it yet, even being an avid sewer. I'll probably finally try it and then from then on everything of mine will be sewed, LOL.I still think it's a hoot that we have the same SM cover.

Great card Sue, and I love that little dog riding on the back! Too cute! TFS the ATG tip - I never knew about that! I made a sympathy card for a customer the other day. It was white on white, all printed on the inside, beautifully done on the outside, and when I turned it over to put my personal stamp on the back, it got this big smudge right on the top line of the inside sentiment!!! AWRGH!!!! I feel your pain, trust me:)

oh, I love this guy! I think I might own him! lol Crazy that I can't keep track better! I just use the general adhesive in my ATG gun and I can usually pull stuff up fine. The acid free stuff sure does stick though, wondering if that's what you're talking about? Glad to know I'm not the only one taking cards apart after they're finished! lol

Lovely card, I always prefer hand made ones and they are not difficult to be done.
