WoyW?W Stamps and Smiles

Okay...I have been slacking off today and had to go play Bunco (I won too! lucky me!) Today I am going to show you this card I made using  Stamps and Smiles lil' Cookie Baker!!

I colored this sweet little baker and then cut around the girl and mounted her on DP so the background would look like wallpaper.

Now, it is getting close to time to start my holiday baking...so this card just makes me smile and brings great family memories of baking during the holidays with my children!  I always make a ton of cookies.  You can see them HERE if you are in the mood to browse some goodies and some great recipes!

Card details:
Stamps: Stamps and Smiles Home Baked Goodies
Cardstock: Delovely DP, SU! Pink
Ink: memento black, versafine black and copics
Misc: SU! satin Ribbon, SU oval punches, rectangle nesties, Martha border punch
------------------------------------------------------

Okay...on to my desk...or at least this week for What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday  #71--I am going to show you how I store my must have goodies. I have two sets of drawers right next to me when I stamp. In those drawers are all my tools that I use all the time. If I keep them close, I can pick them up quickly and keep the big mess to a minimum! All the drawers are labeled with my handy dandy labeler!

I'll show you the inside of some of these so you get an idea what I like to keep close at hand!

My ATG gun

My junk drawer...stamp a ma jig, sanding block, distresser, paper piercers etc

Adhesives

all my most used ink pads

MY bling!!!!
Lots of glitter! should use this more often!
My brads and clippy things
I have drawers for buttons, pens, prisma's, clear blocks for unmounteds, cleaning pads, embroidery threads, labeler, misc embellies and several more. As much as I would like to have nice fancy, schmancy decorator drawers, I love these rubbermaid type drawers because I can just pull them out and set them on my desk when I need to rummage through them. Hope you enjoyed this tour!

Your drawers are just fab. Are they attached to each other or do they all fall off sometimes? (they would if it were me....)

Wow Sue. I really like those clear storage units. Easy to see what's in them and they hold so much. You have some very organized tools and supplies in them, too. Happy WOYWW from number 2.

Cute card! Love the storage system too. I have lots of little plastic containers on shelves in wood cabinets hung above my work area. I have to keep getting up to reach for items on the upper shelves. Your system would work much better.

How organised are those drawers! Mine start off that way but then I put stuff back in the wrong ones.... which doesn't help much, does it? Love the card, its so cute and fresh. Happy WOYWW from Annette #100

Hi Sue, if you look at this link http://scraphappenshere.blogspot.com/2010/09/atg-stand.html it gives you cloe ups of the ATG stand I made and sort of instructions for it... its so much easier to pick them up from a stand!

Cute, cute card!!! Love that dp!!! May have to look into that...is that current? the image is adorable, too!!
Love your system of having the things you use the most close at hand. I try to do that, too, but it seems like I need it all close at hand. My hubby would probably say my problem is that I thing I "need it all!!" (giggle) He's probably right!
Thanks for sharing all this!! I prefer functional over fancy!! (more money for stamps!)

First things first - I will definitely use your idea for ceating a "wallpaper". Real cute card!
And my storage system is a bit similar to yours, only not as half as organized. I should get my act together.

Wow... you are amazing! I'm so glad you stopped by today and introduced yourself! I laughed when I saw your cute penguins... my son calls me penguin since I walk like one (I have to be 50 to get my knees replaced...) so it's true... I do walk just like them. I'm going to have to try and make a few of those this year! Thanks for sharing your many talents! Vicki
