WOYW?W #70

Tis Wednesday...another What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday over at Julia's! If you are not familiar with WOYWW? I suggest you go take a peek...Quite a fun bunch of crafters! I love reading their posts, most of them are from across the ocean and they really come up with some interesting descriptions and some fun wording!

This week I am showing you a make and take that I made at a scrap convention I went to a couple weeks ago. I so wish I could find the designer's card...I have it somewhere....A local Oregon gal that has her own line of precut canvas designs like the flower, little banner and strips used on this JOY banner. I don't know any of the specific info other that the J and Y are mounted on cardboard and the O is mounted on canvas. My guess is that the DP could be Graphic 45. It was a fun make and take and if I remember the company name I will come back and post! (Hey Melissa, do you have the name?)  ETA: The designer of this make and take was Punky Sprouts.

Okay...just to show you my new purchase...a couple hanging file cubes from Michael's. The reason I am so jazzed about these...they hang 12x12 paper! You can see how I labeled each hanging file with my handy dandy labeler!  There is not any room to add label tabs, so I had to add each label right on the file. One bad note here: Each cube comes with only 4 folders...what's with that??? I hope to find more the next time I get to the big city. Frustrating...

Love that banner and what a neat way to be able to store your papers too - mine are all in plastic baggies laying down in a drawer so whenever I want some they are inevitably on the bottom of the pile so I have to get everything else out first! Thanks for sharing - Sunshine Girl (28)

Love the Joy banner, but what I like even more is the file folder for the 12 x 12 paper. I was just going to start looking for some 12x 12 envelopes, file folders, or something. and lo and behold...you have foun it!! I'll have to check with Michael's by the airport and see if they have the extra file folders to purchase. Great discovery. Thank you for sharing!

Cute cute banner Sue! =) Love the use of cardboard behind some of the letters and cute embellies. Your filing system looks great! I think I need one for mY 12x12s. They are just stacked and harder to find what I need. =D

What an awesome project! Your talent gives me such inspiration! You have got to be the most organized stamper ever, could you come over and organize me??? Wow, that's a purchase I should be thinking of making...maybe then I could find the papers I need!

The banner is lovely - will visit the sprouts site as soon as I can. Wanted to thank you for the nesties storage ideas and research you did for me - I think it's going to be a ring file with sticky back magnet on chipboard pages for me. Thanks so much!
