WOYWW? (almost Thursday!) #2 Elmo thank you cards

One down....23 to go!

Another late What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday (WOYWW?)! I really need to get on the ball like the rest of the WOYWW'ers. I have been nagging a few friends to join in so if I don't play along...they might kick my hiney LOL!!! (If you look close, you can see parts and pieces of projects to come!)

Just wanted to show you what's on my desk this week. I have been working on these Elmo thank you cards...with 1 down and 23 to go. Who doesn't love Elmo--- so I never really get tired of making this card. I made a Christmas version for my grandson HERE.These are for a little 2 year old girl's birthday thank you's. I have been plodding along on these. I have everything cut out except the  Elmo's and stamping a few more sentiments. Another couple TV shows and they will be done!!! Reminds me of the good ole' days when I used to always make assembly line...I always made more than one of each card and when I started blogging, that went out the door...

Thanks for stopping in and snooping around my desk this week! Hope to see you soon.

Card Details:

These are such cute cards with Elmo! Who doesn't like Elmo?? I spotted a cute gingerbread cookie with a chef's hat on sitting in the background! He's cute! I see you replaced that bag of truffles with a box of tissues - bleckh!! NOT fun! LOL

Lots of cutting and assembling going on there. I can't do the craft and tv thing, far too easily distracted! Looks like a little pile of naked rubber top left too?

Hugs

Wow, that's so cool - adorable card and your "assembly line" seems to be working perfectly! I never seem to be able to make more than one of each card!
Regarding your question about shading - I didn't use greys at all, I used browns from E40-ies range. I find they give me better blending and more natural look with warm tones.

He's such a happy Elmo - he makes me smile. Good luck on the production line, and with the haunted house.

You go girl! I would never get it done, I only like to create and don't like mass reproduction, so to me this is an amazing feat! Totally fun card and a daunting project!

Did you think I had forgotten you this week, Sue? Never. I'm just really behind. You might know what that's like (grin). Cute Elmo card and ones in the making. Happy really belated WOYWW.

Loved your card. Where did you get that stamp? I am so in need of a few sesame street stamps (especially Elmo - with a present no less!!) I am at the stage where I need little kids "tv" things again and would like to be steered in the right direction. Thanks so much for sharing your art. Lynn
