House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge #75-Vintage!
This week at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge #75 is VINTAGE. Now Vintage is not a style I have done much with....but a style I so admire because it seems so hard to pull off. I tell ya...the girls at House Mouse have rocked this challenge. I am in awe of all the wonderful creations they have made for this challenge. Very inspiring indeed!
I just found the most vintage-ish image I had... cute little Bumble Bunny in an 'antiquey' bath tub. Does this qualify for vintage????...I hope so LOL! I used some lovely retired DP from SU! and distressed it around the edges with some chocolate chip ink. (to make it look like that old wallpaper you see in Westerns). The cuttlebug corners remind me of the scroll work builders added to the front porches of the old time houses...love that stuff! I would put some on my house if I had a porch!
This bunny image is mounted on dimensionals.I also have been hoarding this beautiful silk ribbon...wide silk ribbon that Charlene sent to me as a special surprise! She is one talented crafter for sure. You should stop in and say HI. You can visit her at Paper and Ink Playground. You can find this wonderful ribbon on Charlene's Etsy shop HERE.
Now wouldn't we all love to be soaking in a tub full of glittery bubbles after a long day of crafting? What an ideal day that would be!
I am on vacation so this is a prescheduled post. Having a great time at the Oregon Jamboree listening to country music for three sunshine filled days! I will be home on Monday night...a short and sweet mini vacation! I will be around to visit you all next week when I get home and catch up on everything!
I hope you can find the time in the next 2 weeks to join in on the Vintage Challenge at House Mouse and Monday Challenge!
