alotaRubberstamps--Take Care of Yourself

This is one of the first alotaRubberstamps stamps I bought when I started going to the unmounted stamp convention years ago. Still one of my fave stamps too!  I made this to send to a fellow that is fighting a tough battle...trying to keep it manly and not too cutesy.  The sentiment is a Stampabilities that I inked in portions and punched with my SU oval punches.

I love making this image 3D. The drawer, kleenex box, and cup are all 3D with some real kleenex added for a fun touch. The main bee/chair image in on dimensionals as well.  I know this looks a wee plain, but I was trying to keep it simple. I used some of the new SU colors for the base and accents on this card.

Sue, this card is adorable! I love it! That little bee is too cute, and I love the colors you used and the 3-D effect. I just ordered that Stars EF. Very, very sweet. I noticed in the picture of your previous post that you have a sewing machine cover that looks just like the one I have. I made mine...did you make yours too? TFS this great card.

This is such a wicked coincidence...let me explain.

I received my subscription copy of Good Housekeeping magazine today. Inside is an advertising inert for a new type of softer Kleenex. It is made so that a 'box' pops up as you open the pages and inside the hole is a real sample tissue.

Now to your card - utterly brilliant. The poorly chap will be delighted.

Gorgeous Sue and certain to bring a smile to his face when he sees it. I've got this same stamp and haven't used it yet, I must get it inked up now that I've seen how beautifully you've used it. Chris :)
