Penny Black Saturday Challenge-easter goddess

I am still here!  I have been gone almost 2 weeks and with NO stamping either...Sometimes life throws a few curves at you that needs immediate attention. The last few weeks have been long and stressful, but are now calming down a wee bit.  My mama had a medical emergency and I had to be gone for a while, but things are looking up and hopefully she is on the road to a speedy recovery. To have a sick parent brings reality crashing down around you so fast it takes your breath away. Our family is now breathing easily with hopes of many happy and healthy years ahead! Whew!

Tonight was the first time I could get my fingers all inky and boy did it feel good. I thought about stamping while making this card...At least for me...crafting is my stress release, my entertainment, my main hobby...my lifeline to sanity! It is a great addiction...

Okay on to this cute Penny Black card! I love this little Easter Goddess stamp. Her big eyes and hairbow just make me laugh...a real happy card!  I used the sketch from this week's Penny Black Saturday Challenge. I added another egg and flower on dimensionals as well. Oh, and  you know me...I can't hardly make a card that doesn't include a polka dot or two!!!

I love this card. What a cute image, and I love all those polka dots. I'm sorry you're mom was sick and I'm glad she's getting better. We were gone almost a week and then I got sick the day after we got home and I'm just now feeling some better. I hate when I'm out of my stampin' room for any length of time, but that happens sometimes and that's just the way it is. Glad you're back. I do love this stylin' little egg.
