3 Clovers Thursday Challenge #48-Use 2 Different Stamps and no......words do not count!

Aren't these just the cutest little panda stamps? I won a set of these little Panda's from Dandelion Designs.(Thanks so much Jean!) I decided they would be perfect to make this fun little Valentine Treat box for my precious grandson Cole! I didn't get too carried away and make him anything  fancy or fussy...I mean he's only 2 and he will only care about the candy and probably rip the Panda's off and carry them around and play with them LOL.

I made this little set to fit the challenge this week over at 3 Clovers Thursday Challenge. The challenge is to use two different stamps...and words do not count. This was pretty easy for me...I like to use a lot of stamps! I actually used two different Panda's, and a little wagon stamp from Dandelion Designs,  a Michaels stamp that is a string of hearts and a heart stamp from a new Stampin' Up set that my dear friend Charla gave me for Christmas.  The sentiment on the card is computer generated. The sentiment on the box says I LOVE YOU and is made with a sizzlet strip die called Naturally Serif from SU! You know, I did not think I would like this strip, but I have to tell you...I use it alot..it is just the perfect size for cards and reasonably priced!  ($20)

I found the idea for the box on Andrea Walford's blog HERE. You can print out directions for the box on her blog as well. Basically--just  cut a piece of cardstock 4 x 7 (or the 5x7  version to match her box) and score 1 ' from each side (lengthwise or on the long side) and score at 1,3,4,6 inches on  the short side. Very EASY!!

You can find this cute Panda (Walking Ping)  HERE.

yummmy...take a peek inside

I made a little pop up support for Ping Panda from a piece of transparency.
Cut a strip 1 x 4 inches.
Score at each inch mark (1,2.3)
Fold into a triangle and stick it together with a glue dot on the overlapping panels.
I then trimmed the transparency to the width of my image so it didn't show from the front and stuck the images to the triangle .I then stuck the whole thing on the box with a big glue dot.

I hope you can join us at 3 Clover's Thursday Challenge this week!!! Check out these Clover Girls:
