I did not have much luck with this weeks House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge. The challenge was to make a gate fold. For some reason...gate folds and me do not mix LOL! oh well here is my feeble attempt. The Design team on the HM blog made wonderful cards...so go visit and take a peek at theirs...I used my Mega curved nesties to cut the top and bottom of this card..just to give it a different look. The image is cut out with the same nesties. I used some fun retired SU DP for the main cardstock.
The inside has the yellow gingham DP as well.

This card is still super cute - gatefold or not. Actually, I think your fold looks wonderful, but I must admit, I've never made a gatefold card.

This is a wonderful gate fold card! The image is beautifully colored and I love the die cut gingham buttons!!
I'm a fan of this technique, but I always end up using a belly band or ribbon to tie the sides shut because my folds never seem perfect. I've never even tried using the Nesties on the flaps -- what a great touch!
