House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge #28

This is my manly House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge #28 card! ...and what's more "manly" than a good game of poker and ummmmm...and twine LOL?

I finally used this stamp...originally bought for my Mom because she is a card playing fool! She belongs to as many card clubs as she can fit into her day! (and then plays online too!)

And...this is my first all copic colored mouse! (the brown one) I now have 7, yes 7 copics! You can tell I am not jumping in too fast...but boy do I love coloring with them! I'm planning my strategy for my next purchases...hopefully matching the next purchases close to SU! colors so they match my cardstock stash! I will have to do some research on that!

Oh you must visit Mary's blog-My Cards, My passion...(my therapy)!:), she is starting a new Copics Technique Challenge blog. Sounds like a lot of fun (if you have more than 7 LOL). My bloggin buddy Karen, is also on their DT...you go girls! Hey, who knows...maybe they can teach me a thing or two!

Okay, back to my card. I used several different coloring mediums on this card...Prisma's/OMS, SU! markers, and Copics. That seems to be my style...whatever I got goes on the card.

--------------------------------

Stamps: Card Sharks HMLR1038-Stampabilities, Sentiment by SU! Circle of Friendship

Cardstock: SU! Choc Chip, Real Red and DCWV turquoise.

Inks: Memento Black. SU! markers, prisma's/OMS, copics, SU choc chip

Misc: Martha border punch, SU and EK circle punches, SU Designer Label punch, close to cocoa button and SU twine

Card size: 5 1/2 x 5 1/2

Sue, this card is adorable! What a darling image of that little guy peaking at the hand of cards. Your coloring is great, so I hope to see you on the Copic Challenges. It took a little while for me to build my inventory, and I'm still building, for sure. I do love them, though. Your color choices are great with this card. Thanks for the smile!

OMGosh! First of all...I'm amazed at a HM stamp that I've never seen, and I totally love it! (I would so love to see your collection of stamps some day!) And, if you only have 7 Copics, HOLY COW!! ~ You did an unbelieveable job on the coloring here. Seriously, this card is really really great. All the details you added really make it PERFECT! YOU definitely need to join us on the new blog...hmmmm, I'm thinking "guest design team member"..... :)

Thanks so much giving the blog some publicity! I really appreciate it (and YOU!) I've been working so hard on this blog, I'm nervous that everything will work out! Thank you very much! :)

Beautiful job of coloring, and the image couldn't be more perfect for the "One for the Men" I have not seen this stamp -- but thanks to you, I know I "must" have it! Is there anything that the HM don't do? Thanks for sharing. Martha Kay

I loved your stiry about the copics. I now have 6 copics, but I am not sure if I am going to get more. Maybe I would love to take lessons. Your coloring is amazing! Both the mouses look perfect!

You did a wonderful job with the Copics! I love the image you used. This is one that you sent me in the batch. I also used one that you sent for this weeks manly challenge too. You are the sole reason I am now hooked on HM stamps and I'm proud to say that I now have over 20 of them and still adding. Best, Curt
