House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge! Pumpkin Pie

A quick card(Ha) for the challenge...hope it is on time. I used my New House Mouse of the Month stamp and sentiment.

It only took me oh....I don't know how long to figure out the correct dimensions of this card so that the message tag would be hidden underneath...I put it all together once and the "T" was hanging out...my my my can't have that!

I finally pulled it all apart and started with a new mechanism and made it work! Whew!

Image is colored with prisma's, sentiment is colored with SU! markers. I had these cute little paper shaper punches that worked so well with this neat Debbee Mumm DP! I just noticed that the pumpkin pies looking like they are flying! HA!

You can see the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge here.

Stamps: Stampabilities House Mouse Pumpkin Pie with Muzzy and Mudpie(he has the chunk out of his ear) HMIR1016 and the sentiment You and Dessert DR1098

Ink: Black, prisma's and markers

Cardstock: Really Rust

Misc: punches, ribbon, dimensionals,

oh my goodness, I have GOT to find this stamp and get it in memory of my grandma. She passed away last Sept and she would have LOVED this! She loved House Mouse and pumpkin pie was her favorite. She would always say, "why do we only eat it on Thanksgiving?", so I started making it for her for her birthday which was in Feb.

You're right Sue! I love that stamp! Those little mice are adorable, eating my favorite pumpkin pie! Love how you made the tag come from behind the image. You're one incredible cardmaker!

Love,

Heidi

Wonderfully YUMMY!!! How clever of you to add the tag behind the image panel! Why can't I ever think of stuff like that? That's why you need to relocate to NC and be my neighbor:o) Yeah, I know...wishful thinking on my part...but a girl can dream. LOL! I LOVE your scrumptious card!!!

Hugs!

Hey Sue... Your cards are adorable! But that's not why I'm here this time. Awhile ago you won a House Mouse card giveaway on my blog... and I *swear* I sent it to you, but then I found the dang card in my basket yesterday. Did I send you a different card? Or no card? I'm so confused. Either way, I still want to get this one to you! Can you email your info to me again? Sairabee at yahoo dot com. Thanks! And sorry for the confusion/delay!

How Adorable! I like the hidden tag, the pumpkin pie patterned paper and the way you punched out the leaves with the flower centers to give them more color. I also just made a card with this stamp image. It's just too cute.
