Mr & Mrs Wedding card

Hello my fellow crafty bloggers! It has been oh so long since I have gotten to craft a wee bit. I can't believe I have not posted in over a month. I have so missed being crafty, it is my stress reliever-and boy if there was ever a time I needed a stress reliever outlet! More to come on that later....

Today I want to share a card I made for a happy occasion!  I have a sweet niece getting married tomorrow and this is what I made. Gotta love Mickey and Minnie!  I googled the kissing  image and traced the outer edge in my Silhouette software, cutting it out of white and adding black behind it-easy peasy with no paper piecing! I added the red heart and used a Disney font (Waltograph) to add their name to the front as well.

TIP: Cut a rectangle around the name when you cut it out.  Carefully pull up the rectangle (leaving the letters on the cutting mat) and using this negative-set it on your card front. Dot some glue in the negative spaces where the letters were. Add your letters back in "their space"  and pull up the outside rectangle right away. Your letters are perfectly aligned this way!

I topped  off this little wedding card with some Bo Bunny black polka dot ribbon. This is a big card...6 x 7.25  ish inches in size!

I added the kissing meeces inside a Silhouette artisan frame cut file (Alaa'K)  using heart cardstock by Best Creation (Sweet Love), making it into a stand up card.

Thanks for popping in to say Hello! I hope to be sharing more craftiness soon!

Great Impressions --- Everything!!!

Jammie Day Sunday

Know What's Nice About a Friend Like You?-Everything!

Hello my Great Impressions Friends!  My Jammie Day Sundays are winding to a close, but I still have two oaties/jammie/robe/ slipper days to go!

Today I am using Birdies On a Swing and A Friend all framed by a pretty swirly frame I cut with my Silhouette.

Don't you love  these chicks in their matchy matchy colors? I think they color coordinated their feathers with the heidi grace designer paper!

I will see you all next week! Don't forget about to pop over to Great Impressions and check out all the new release stamps!!!

Great Impressions Easter Egg-stravaganza!

Yes, It is time to show off all my cute little Easter critters today!!!  (I tried not to eat all the jelly beans before the pictures were finished LOL)

Today is Jammie Day Sunday for Great Impression Stamps, so pull up your chair and browse a wee bit! Don't forget your oaties and cocoa-I have lots of pics to peek at!!!

I always make lots of fun little  Easter treat holders to give out, so today you are seeing this cute little egg basket I cut with my Silhouette-fast and east. I then colored up my critters and attached them with pop dots.   You will recognize some of these critters as I am more than happy to give my stamps lots of love!

Which one is your favorite???? I couldn't decide...

Great Impressions Bunny Hop!!!

Welcome to the Great Impressions Stamps Bunny Hop!  We are excited to be celebrating all things Spring!  If you came here from Shanna's blog you are in the right place.  If not- start at the beginning with Angi.  Be sure and leave a comment at every stop so that you are in the running for some fabulous stamping prizes!

Today I am showing off this cute little Easter project-it started out small and took on a life of it's own LOL!

First came the cute Silhouette cut file Gingerbread house remodeled for Spring-then the little Easter Hunt Mouse-he sort looked lonely so I added the individual bunnies from the Bunny Backs stamp...then of course they needed grass  to hunt some Easter eggies !!! These type of projects are so fun!!! I still think I should add a bunny peeking out of one of the windows LOL!

You can see the inside of the little Easter Basket.

And these cute little bunnies in the back too!

Great Impressions- Lucky You

Today we are introducing our March Challenge at Great Impressions---

GREEN

Boy was I almost stumped by this challenge-I mean green..........??? really???? I had myself all in a dither about this LOL....I am terrible at color challenges but I think I managed to make a fun green card after all! (And then I realized that your card does not have to be all green-just have green on it somewhere...) Duh.

I stamped this little harvest mouse stamp, cut off the pumpkin and handed him a clover!!! Ta-Dahhh!
You can see the fall card I made with this stamp here.  Nothing makes me happier than using stamps multiple times in creative ways. This stamp is one that can be so versatile...I can see substituting the pumpkin for an egg for easter, flowers for mothers day...the list goes on and on! Time to think outside the box!

I cut out the green base, clover and lucky me sentiment with my Silhouette-love that machine!

This Tuesday we are  having a Bunny Hop-Design Team Past and Present are playing along. 'Hop around' and say Hello and have a chance to win some prezzies!!!

Millie Mouse Inky Antics

 Inky Antics!
I made another card with Millie Mouse-isn't she a cutie?  I paper pieced her dress and chef's hat and colored her some matching shoes...a girl's gotta be matchy matchy right?

I cut the cookie card using a Cookie cut file from the Silhouette store, mirroring it in the software to make it into a card you can open like this:

House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge 137-Special Cuts

Anything Goes with a Special Cut...
use a fun die and special cut card or even a haircut!

I have several new baby boy  nephews so this card will be sent off to our new little Sam! The accordian style special cut was made using my Silhouette. Sort of reminds me of a diorama type card! I found this little pic of baby boy and added it at center stage!  I used just one of the baby meece for this card-simple and sweet.  The sentiment was cut using my Silhouette as well. I added his name and a little binky meece on the back of the card as well.

Thanks for playing along with our challenge-I do hope you will play along with our special cut challenge.
