Harry Potter Water Bottles

Harry Potter Water Bottles

My kids are Hydro Flask addicts!  If you don't have one of these, you really should get one, two or maybe 4 like my daughter Abby!

These containers keep your cold liquids cold for hours(you will still have ice the next day) or hot(would still be hot the next day). They come in many sizes and shapes.

Abby stopped by the other day and wanted to decorate her flasks in honor of school starting this week for the teachers in this area. (She is a second grade teacher). Being a big Harry Potter fan, she went with a HP theme.  All the cut files were shared on a facebook Harry Potter crafty group except for Snape(blue).  That file was purchased off Etsy-(you can find a link to that file at the end of this post.)

Dobby was the center of the O in the Avenge Dobby flask...so we did not want to waste him, so we added a little Dobby to the back of the bottle...he is only about 3/4 tall or so.

I must say I am quite rusty in my Harry Potter knowledge, but Abby brought me up to speed and explained what all these files meant.  That was just as fun as adding this vinyl art to the bottles!

After all this time...always

What have I been up to today??? Cupcakes

I have a gazillion things to get done today...so what did I do instead?

My daughter Abby received cupcake decorating tools for Christmas so today we decided to decorate her tool caddy with vinyl cupcakes and colored sprinkles. We had so much fun!!!
We used the font  LDHipster  34449.  I actually got it from Lettering Delights, but I see it is available at the Silhouette Store as well!

I am entering this in the Silhouette Challenge for February-3D Item for your craftroom.

Thanks for popping in today...call me a slacker, but it was a good craftin' day!

Christmas projects 2014- part 2!

Just a quick peek at another project I have been working on with my school teacher daughter Abby. She did the glittering and bows and I did the vinyl lettering. We are quite the tag team!
She will surprise her students in the morning with a little tree full of these ornaments. One side of the ornament has their name in the Waltograph font and the other uses the same font with the school and year information.

If you are so inclined to make any of these, let me recommend this video on reverse weeding-it was a real life saver when I got to the small printed info!

Hope you are enjoying all the preparations of the holidays!  I have been working on a single Oregon Ducks card for several weeks now and I  keep getting side tracked, but maybe this week I will get a few minutes to finish it up!

See You Soon!

Creepy Cole and Spooky Lukey Halloween Glasses

Just a quick post here to share these fun sippee cups I made for my grandsons, Creepy Cole and Spooky  Lukey and my little punkin nephew Nicholas. I think I need to go buy some more if  the Dollar Store still has them...I have lots of 'littles' in my family-maybe I can bribe them to come see Aunt Susie on Halloween!!! LOL!

I don't make a lot of things with vinyl, so this was a fun departure from my typical cardstock and pen creations! I actually made these 2 weeks ago, but because Cole and Luke's need to be delivered, I thought I better get these photographed-and of course filled with goodies before they go! Note: I believe these should be handwashed-probably not dishwasher proof)

You can find the double walled cups at the Dollar Store and the images from the Silhouette Store-
3 cute Halloween icon set designed by Lori Whitlock.  I also added lots of little flying bats on the back  of each cup-just "cuz" little boys like that sort of creepy stuff!

I am going to add this to the October Link Up Party-Fall files on the Lori Whitlock Blog. You have the rest of the month to join in using any Lori Whitlock file (ends November 5th).

For the names I used a font on my computer named LD Funky Chunky (I think it came from Lettering Delights so that is where I linked it). I believe it was a freebie at one time but HEY-it looks like it is on sale for 50 cents right now!

Thanks again for stopping in to say Hello-I love hearing from you!
