or the optional theme-

On the Move

Joyful Journey and Die

I  used a side step card base cut with my Silhouette (Side Step card here).

I colored my image with copics and used the coordinating die to cut it out. I popped that mad dasher into the cute winter scene and it was done!! The sentiment was included  with the stamp set.

Lori Whitlock July Blog Hop

Maxine turn's one!!!

I made this darling Hidden Binding Tag Mini Album to show you!  It's a bit of continuation from the birthday card I made for my grand-niece's 1st birthday. I used the same strawberry themed collection from the Lori Whitlock Strawberry Fields Collection.

Love that all the elements of this collection made it so easy to decorate this mini album! The hidden binding process is very easy. I made the flower mini album last week with a friend and we had the best time! I had to make another one.

Back page, spine and front page

I used the following Products:

Rectangle Pop Up Card Golf Stand (SVG,Silhouette)

I had so much fun making this card in the Oregon Ducks colors! My Son In Law is an avid Ducks fan and a great Dad-so this is for him! He's not so diehard that his golf bag is yellow and green but hey-it way fun!

I used a woodgrain embossing folder from The Paper Studio for the side pieces to give the stand a little rustic feel.

This card fold flat for easy mailing as well. It is not a standard  A2 size so you will need to mail in a square envelope(extra postage required) or use a 6x8 envelope for standard postage.

The stamp I am using is a classic oldie named The Graduate.  You can still find it on Etsy or Ebay.

Bio.
I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself. This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Many thanks to our generous Sponsors for their continued support!

This file will fold flat very similar to a box card, but it is pretty big, so might be a bit of a go to mail it. I think this will make a great 4th of July decoration!

Lori Whitlock Graduation Cards Tutorial

It's that time of the year to make a stack of Graduation cards!

This post is a tutorial on the Lori Whitlock Blog today.

I chose several files that really gives you a lot of bang for your buck! These files include multiple years to use in the future as well! I have made these cards numerous times over the years because they really are so classy looking and are so fast and easy to make!

They are easy to personalize by changing up the colors to reflect your school colors. You can then add school initials or add the grads name etc.

Graduation Shaped Card 2024-2037 (SVG, Silhouette)

Instructions for a Silhouette: enlarge the file by 200% by choosing the symbol that looks like a slash (highlighted in blue-top on the left side)  and click 200%. That was pretty easy right? Sorry-I'm not familiar on how  you do that on the Cricut.

I always like to add a white center inside my cards, it's an especially fun detail if you have a shaped card.

For this inside insert I took the 2026 from the file and after selecting the 2026 you can right click and choose release compound path(about 2/3rd down the list)  From there you can pull the outline away and delete all the little pieces.

5 x7 Graduation Shaped Card (SVG, Silhouette)

After cutting out the Congrats Grad pieces -leave all the letters stuck to the mat. It is easier to grab the center parts of the letters and see where to glue them.

Graduation Card with Pocket (SVG, Silhouette)

I just made this one because it was fast and easy.  I decorated the grad hat like I have seen the grads decorate theirs!

I hope you have found some Graduation inspiration!
