Isn't this little Garland Pixie adorable?  I colored her with copics and cut her out with my ScanNCut machine.  I added a bit of snow at the bottom for her to stand on and a sweet little sentiment. The base die is from Lawn Fawn.

Beware of the Locals

Lettering Delights-The Wanderer

I saw this cut file and fell in love with it. Where I live we were the epicenter of the Legend of Big Foot/Sasquatch. There was  an office near my home and Mr Big was often "sighted" in the mountains around me. I suspect it was someone in a furry suit trekking the mountains making footprints to excite the locals LOL! Do you remember that 80's movie named Harry and the Hendersons?? I am sure it was inspired by Mr. BF!

I cut the card file and made a computer generated sentiment using Chiller as the font. It's a rather large card (6x8) so I think I would resize it next time.

Oh my...I have had this stamp for ages and I have never used it! It was one of those stamps I just had to have and it has sat for probably 10 years. It is no longer available that I could find, but Northwoods Rubber Stamps still has some cute stamps on their site. Enjoy!

I used a fun cobblestone stencil from Hero Arts on the outside of each mailbox and added a few glittery berries to the all of the wreaths for an extra bit of bling.

I started this card weeks ago but was dragging my feet with all the fussy cutting I had planned. I was fairly sick of the color orange so I decided to make a pretty pastel Halloween card. 

This wonderful classic stamp is from 2002! Oh gosh I love this stamp!  The sentiment is from those old $1 Studio G stamps of years ago. I have a great stash of them-they have the best little sentiments. Do you remember them? I added a few little silver stars and called it good.

Bio.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself. This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

For this card I wanted to use this spooky Happy Halloween sentiment.It's very dramatic and perfect for Halloween. It is a vintage InkaDinkaDo stamp from the stamp set All Hallow's Eve, I blended a bit of distress ink for the dark sky and splattered a bit of water on it. I cut out my meecies and added them on to the card with pop dots. To finish it off of course I added a few little bats I cut with my Silhouette. I have a stash of them lol. The images were cut out with my ScanNCut.

Pumpkins, Ghosts & Mice Oh My! (Stampabilities- Vintage)

I colored this funny vintage stamp from 2004 with copics. I can't believe I have had all these wonderul stamps and they are still like new. I colored the image, added a few bats and cut apart an embossed sentiment from the new HM Halloween stamp set Trick or Treat. (SSS, Spellbinders)

I keep all my Halloween stamps in storage containers like THIS and then pull them out every year. I have so many stamps I have never used along with so many classic stamps. They are all my favorites. I don't usually make so many Halloween cards, but I had fun just watching movies and coloring away this year!! 

In trying to find some of these vintage stamps for sale so I could link them, boy was I surprised. I found the wood mount Pumpkins, Ghosts and Mice, Oh My!!! There was one listed for  $59.99-can you believe that???? I guess I am sitting on a gold mine! House  Mouse stamps are an investment!

Too Cute To Spook 

Welcome to our midway inspiration for October! 

I seem to use this Catman  almost every year!  It's so cute and one of my favorites. I certainly have gotten my money's worth!

I used a Silhouette cut file named Boho Rattan Wicker Arch Frame for the card base. I resized the file to fit the kitty image and then cut two pieces for the orange card base. I thought it looked a bit like a scary gothic doorway!

The sentiment is from a small Lawn Fawn set named Trick or Treat. I also cut a few bats to add around the cat.

Darn I see I didnt color the punkin stem...I will do that before I mail it.

Box Card Bushel of Apples (SVG, Silhouette)

I made this cute bushel of apples from the Lori Whitlock Fall Project Bundle 2. All the projects are wonderful and full of the spirit of Autumn!  I have linked to this bushel of apples and also to the bundle at Lori's store.  I inked up all the edges to add a bit of dimension. It is the end of apple harvest in our area...fresh apples are so delish!

For my card today I used a vintage HM Stampabilities stamp Zipping By (HMJR111). I cut the image out with my ScanNCut. I used a cut file from Silhouette for my background. Love the quirky and spooky haunted house .   The sentiment was embossed from the new HM Spellbinders set Trick or Treat.  I added my little Amanda onto the card with a wobbler. You know I love a good wiggle!

The other day I got out numerous vintage House Mouse stamps and colored them up while watching TV. It felt like I was visiting with long lost friends! Most of the time it is hard to get back to the older stamps because there are so many new ones coming out. I am trying to give some love to all the stamps I am rediscovering! Hope you will enjoy seeing a few more vintage stamps in the future.
