What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 176-Oscar the Grouch

Another What's On You Workdesk? Wednesday! OH My how Wednesday  rolls around so fast!

Today you are seeing my downstairs workspace again. Seems I have slowly migrated downstairs in order to stay more centrally located HA!  You are seeing a couple of storage cases that I use to store stamp stuff. These  two hold some of my Halloween stuff like stamps, special papers and ribbons and doodahs. I have some of these for Easter and Christmas as well. Pretty handy to group holiday stuff together!

I want to show you the cute Oscar card I made too!

You probably all know how I feel about Elmo, Cookie Monster and the rest of the Sesame Street Gang. I never got over my crush on them all!
I made this with my Silhouette. The file was made by one of my Silhouette idols Cely . She makes the cutest creations and is a whizz with her cutting machine and making files as well. She will be sharing another versions of Oscar on her blog, Creating in Carolina, tomorrow. Be sure to stop in and say Hello to her, she is so great about sharing her files too!

Well, that's it for the tour today. I am off to pick up a few things, and truck off to bed and catch up on my sleep! Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you take a few minutes and pop on over to Julia's desk at the Stamping Ground and read what all this desk hopping is all about! Quite addicting!

See you next week WOYWW'ers!

Fiddlin' with Seasame Street-Elmo, Cookie Monster and Zoe

Yep, I should be weeding the yard or cleaning the kitchen(first warm weekend in 6 months!)...but I found these darling svg files at  ScrappinbyKris and could not get them out of my head. Had to play with my silhoette instead.

I found this awesome blog that shares svg's. Stop in and visit Kris at ScrappinbyKris.

Elmo and Zoe are HERE. Cookie Monster is HERE!

My lil' grandson Lukey turned two a while back and the theme of his party was Sesame Street's Elmo.  The pic of him above shows him ready for his celebration.
Luke thinks if he hides his eyes, Gwamma Sue can't see him!

And look at his other Granny...This is Grandma D (Donna)-she really gets in the spirit. She made this cute gift bag with a pic of Lukey hugging Elmo...Luke has some crafty grannies-what a lucky boy!

And look at Zoe...so cute.

Cooooookiesssssssss!

Well I am off to have some "breffus" and go do "sumthun"!

Monday I have a cute House Mouse coming your way, Tuesday is WOYWW and Wednesday I have a blog hop from Creations by AR...

I also forgot that I am entering this in Crazy 4 Challenges, which is to add a POP of black to your creation...a perfect fit for sure!

Hope to see you soon!

WOYWW? (almost Thursday!) #2 Elmo thank you cards

One down....23 to go!

Another late What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday (WOYWW?)! I really need to get on the ball like the rest of the WOYWW'ers. I have been nagging a few friends to join in so if I don't play along...they might kick my hiney LOL!!! (If you look close, you can see parts and pieces of projects to come!)

Just wanted to show you what's on my desk this week. I have been working on these Elmo thank you cards...with 1 down and 23 to go. Who doesn't love Elmo--- so I never really get tired of making this card. I made a Christmas version for my grandson HERE.These are for a little 2 year old girl's birthday thank you's. I have been plodding along on these. I have everything cut out except the  Elmo's and stamping a few more sentiments. Another couple TV shows and they will be done!!! Reminds me of the good ole' days when I used to always make assembly line...I always made more than one of each card and when I started blogging, that went out the door...

Thanks for stopping in and snooping around my desk this week! Hope to see you soon.

3 Clovers Thursday Challenge 41--So Thankful...Make a Thank You card

What has more red than Christmas?

Well, Elmo of course! If you have been a follower of my blog for a while, you know my grandson, Cole,  loves Elmo. I decide to make these little 3 x 3 thank you cards so that little Cole can send them out as Thank You's after Christmas.(maybe even one to Gwamma...)

Last week Kerry of 3 Clovers Thursday Challenge wrote about a card she was making. It started with something she was determined to use and her card took a life of its own around her obsession to use a certain image, product or paper. Wellllll........ I was determined to use my mega nesties(just had to have them...used them once) to make little cards this time around. Many moons ago, before I started blogging, I always made duplicates of my cards, so I decided late last night I would make a little set of cards. I forgot how much fun it is to line them all up and appreciate the fun of it all! What is it with that anyway...anyone else like to line up their cards???...I know I'm weird LOL!

I did a quick bit of  copic coloring,  but tried more for the Penny Black watercolor look instead of blending.

Okay back to this week's 3 Clover's Thursday Challenge #41...Thank You cards. What an appropriate day to show our Thanks! I hope you enjoy what the team has made for you today and can take the time to go peek at their creations.......... and maybe make one of your own to share! If you upload to SCS please use 3CTC41 or share directly on the blog entry.

I better get running and get my pies made tonight! I want to thank you all for visiting my blog. Thank you to those who take a few extra minutes to  leave comments, it always means so much! Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
